Fox News is reporting that US troops are in downtown Karbala "taking it to'em". Them is al-Sadr's militia. Steve Harrington is reporting a lot of tanks, Bradley's, apaches, C-130's, etc. A large operation.

BOMB BLASTS IN ATHENS

Three {{time}}bomb blasts have hit a central Athens police station, Greek police have said.

One officer was slightly hurt but the explosion caused no casualties and authorities have cordoned off the area around the station in the Kalithea area

BERLIN - Two German military airfields were on high alert Tuesday after a police tip-off that they could be under threat.

A Defence Ministry spokesman in Berlin said the alerts were in force for the periods 3 to 9 May and 24 to 30 May, but declined to say what the threat was or why it was greatest at those times.

A military source said federal police investigating Iraqi nationals had communicated a terrorist bomb warning after reading documents in the course of an inquiry. The spokesman declined comment on this.

You're right. The gas pumps go down and it's all over. Have you ever wondered why the silent move to electronic TV's, cars, cash registers, gas pumps, and everything else...away from analogue some years back? Solid state = VULNERABLE. Almost as if it was planned by someone or something behind the scenes. Planned obsolescence. The old kind worked just fine...too good in fact obviously.
