Imagine if all computers went down how quickly the masses would panic. This worm, or whatever is going on with our modern technology, seems to be evolving into a perverse and insidious creature.

You're right. The gas pumps go down and it's all over. Have you ever wondered why the silent move to electronic TV's, cars, cash registers, gas pumps, and everything else...away from analogue some years back? Solid state = VULNERABLE. Almost as if it was planned by someone or something behind the scenes. Planned obsolescence. The old kind worked just fine...too good in fact obviously.
