"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"
Two Chinese diplomats, away from their Los Angeles consulate improperly, recently sped their vehicle past a Los Alamos National Laboratory guard post near classified facilities in what U.S. officials think was an intelligence mission, The Washington Times has learned.

I'm trying to figure out how to make that site work too! I feel totally inept at that site. I keep clicking and trying to find out how Karl got that info to pop up but am having no luck.
All we are getting down here so far is a lot of haze with occasional bursts of smoke smell. I'm not sure if the smell is coming from up north though as our winds are coming directly from the west today. VERY strong winds here. ....
My son just came home and he was over in Lakeside. Said that the smoke smell is very pronounced over there. I haven't heard anything on local news about any fires over that way so it must be from the fires up north. We'll all keep watching the news and updating what we find out.
Stay safe up there!!
Also, still haven't heard all the news about that severed head that was found up your way. Missed the noon news so will be listening in at 4 to find out more about that. Stay safe!!!

May I offer a suggestion? Try and find yourself a good screen-capture program to grab good stuff like this in the future. I have an old copy of
Snag-It that I got as freeware many years ago.

Highway 74 and Greenwald supposedly has homeowners screaming for fire engines.
To: Rushmore Rocks
You go Rushmore!
No disent here. I am sick of fat, ignorant Islamists preaching their death cult to me every chance they get, while they prove their barbarism with their actions and deeds. Islam has brought a lot of death to Americans and Israelis in the last few years, and sadly, more will be coming because we cant get our act together.
We are fighting a war, but no one is supposed to get hurt.
We are trying to defend ourselves, while some members of our society are trying to destroy us from within.
We are trying not to offend other countries and people, and our troops die as a result.
They revel in our deaths, and yet we try not to upset them.
I'm even sicker of the sheltered, ignorant, un-educated talking heads on the television who enable them by not being able to seperate politics (which is their religion) from self preservation.
This will only get uglier Rushmore until we wise up. The only thing these bandits understand is the "Sherman approach"

Thanks for your superb post outlining all the truck incidents - it certainly provides a lot more impact than seeing them one by one!

I agree with you SP2BF. I'm hoping that once Bush wins in November that we will see him play MAJOR HARDBALL. He'll have 4 years to do what he needs to do to get the job done with no fear of the elections.

Schily said in substance that killing terrorists at home to save thousands of endangered lives was a possibility. Now you're talking turkey - those who threaten death on others should not be immune from death themselves. In this case it would be a "preventive and precautionary measure."

This is interesting because at AA reservations, there was NO overtime being offerred which is the usual MO when things get slammed. Just a normal day call volume wise.

I can't get either of those...please keep us posted down here in SD.
One of our local stations broke with a news chopper that crashed in Brooklyn (apparently very recently) and they were acting like someone would be recognized? But only heard part of it. It didn't look good from what I saw. Switched and they were having a problem with the live view of the Eagle/Temecula fire, but mentioned that that one, the Gafford/Elsinore one and the Cerrito/Corona/whatever the other name is are all getting bad, especially as the winds may pick up now.
We're obviously not getting much till they get the signal back up to the Temecula fire.

This story was just heart wrenching.

Thank you Jerseygirl for researching the NPRC info. It appears to be full-time salaried work. Also interesting that it begins a couple of months prior to elections (September 2004). Workers to be on disaster assignments (mobilization) for 21 days continuously.... Hmmmmmmmmmmm?

I know the feeling, he had a fancy gun case on his 4 wheeler, I told him that if he couldn't use it I would.
Actually, his got out accidentally, they came after the cats, but it is the other 4 that need a new owner.
I felt so foolish had my dress on backwards and there I was yelling and screaming at the dogs and attempting to get close enough to spray them with my purple sprayer (LOL) it contains vinegar and several Essential Oils......
the sound/smell will usually run the dogs off, but not yesterday.
Maybe a bit of Chili Pepper vinegar would work.
