Two Chinese diplomats, away from their Los Angeles consulate improperly, recently sped their vehicle past a Los Alamos National Laboratory guard post near classified facilities in what U.S. officials think was an intelligence mission, The Washington Times has learned.

Yeah, by the time I got here 5 minutes ago KNX said they had removed 2 of 3 already and that the tow was there for the 3rd and that they were taking them off the freeway.

I don't know if the SF spill would make a difference but they will use it to raise prices anyway.

Now the SB 110 Harbor Freeway had about 30 trucks going about 5-10mph blocking several lanes.

I feel like bottle-necks are very dangerous now. Clogs too many people up in one place, with no way to escape. I understand what the truckers are trying to do. I feel it's the wrong climate to do it in, right now.

Apparantly the jihadis are having fun this week. I was just checking the logs for the NEIN website, www.homelandsecurityus.com, and someone attempted a DDoS attack on that site last night. The NEIN website has been hit several times in the past, and one of the things I was tasked with was setting up the site in such as way that a DDoS attack would have a minimal effect both in terms of the pocketbook and in terms of response time and site accessibility. Fortunately the site redesign had already been rolled out, with a serious focus on conserving bandwidth, and Doug has had the foresight to have the site hosted on a server that can handle huge amounts of traffic. So the only impact was a slight slowdown in the response time.

It looks like Cindy's site is being targetted based on that posting earlier today. There are some little tricks you can use to minimize the impact of a DDoS attack.

The trucks on the Harbor Freeway were pulled over, at least the first 2 and the rest kept going. I think if they didn't have a sign on their truck protesting the CHP didn't know who was involved and who was stuck in traffic with them.

The drivers in the first incident on the I-5 had people pick them up and they left their trucks on the freeway. Seems like an expensive protest to me, towing, impound fees etc. That would pay for a lot of diesel fuel. And the people paying for it are the commuters stuck behind this mess, their gas is expensive too.

I have a t-shirt with the same "no sheep" symbol on the front. It means exactly what we are referring to here; the sheep mentality. No one, except my husband and one friend, have understood it. I've had people ask me "why don't you like sheep"? Amazing.

If you wished, perhaps an L or l

to the right of the sheep would be an added clue.

I saw this on one of the cable channels about two days ago. It is so disgusting there are no words for it. I hope and pray that the beasts who are doing this are eliminated very soon.

Whatever happened to the 5 trucks driven by arabs?

They have vanished. The last report by BK was that they were thought to have been spotted near the Skirball exit of the 405 freeway near West LA. But nothing since. I freepmailed a trucker that I know from here and he said he had just gotten back from Ca and had not heard anything about this even though he monitors both the CHP and the FBI scanners while driving. He is doing further checking. I will post if anything comes up.

Thanks, I've been reading this thread when I can the last few days but have not had time to get involved in any conversations. I hadn't seen much mention of them. You wouldn't think they'd be hard to spot if someone was looking for them.
