They have vanished. The last report by BK was that they were thought to have been spotted near the Skirball exit of the 405 freeway near West LA. But nothing since. I freepmailed a trucker that I know from here and he said he had just gotten back from Ca and had not heard anything about this even though he monitors both the CHP and the FBI scanners while driving. He is doing further checking. I will post if anything comes up.

Thanks, I've been reading this thread when I can the last few days but have not had time to get involved in any conversations. I hadn't seen much mention of them. You wouldn't think they'd be hard to spot if someone was looking for them.

Was the story about the truckers on the I-5 story ever verified by reliable media outlets? I remember a poster on another forum started a thread on it, which was more of a first-hand report from listening to scanners. I think I remember seeing a link about it on a California news channel's website. Anyway, I'm wondering if the whole thing was just some hearsay that morphed into "news."

Somebody posted this link the other day, maybe you did. Hope truckers are signing up for it.

WCG-

5 Semis don't just disappear into thin air. I'm hoping that our people caught them, and just decided not to report the incidents.

If they really did "disappear" it might be prudent to search warehouses in the vicinity. Also garages, trucking companies and the like. It would be difficult to hide 5 Semi's- but I'm sure it could be done.
