Jobs are Back - And It Looks Like They'll Last

It's happening in an aging factory in south St. Louis, and it's taking shape in a shiny glass office building in Town and Country.

In these places and others, the economy - after inching along, sputtering and then flashing some promise late last year - is finally showing signs of producing what many Americans care about most: much-needed new jobs.

Even the Post-Dispatch is now admitting that there seems to have been a "turnaround" in the job market. Since Missouri is a battleground state (I think it has been called the most "average" state) this must be deeply troubling to Kerry/Daschle/Pelosi, et.al.

Amen. If this continues I don't see how Kerry can win in November. He absolutely MUST win Missouri to get into the White House and so far his problem is the news on most fronts just keeps getting better. Its depriving him of things to say on the campaign trail.

What are you talking about? According to his "Middle Class Misery Index" things have never been worse. It shows that the economy peaked during the Jimmy Carter economic boom.
