VOTE PRO-LIFE YARD SIGN PROJECT.

4 years ago for the presidential election, I made up this simple Vote Pro-Life Yard sign. Through the wonderful generosity of a great pro-lifer we were able to distribute 12,000 across South Louisiana.
Now we are working on a new design and want to make it better than the first. Below is a fairly rough idea. I know Freepers have great imaginations and Id like to see what yall think, and hopefully make some suggestions. It will be 2-sided and 16 in. x 26 in.
To keep costs low it will be a white sign with blue overlay cut out to form the image and text like this Christmas sign.
Once we finalize it I will post the print ready artwork and the sign companys info on my website, so that pro-lifers across the country can use / order them.
All suggestions are very welcome. Lets make this the most victorious Pro-Life election season ever.

Isn't that just preaching to the choir? Why not signs that say, "Teresa Kerry and Her Bishop Want You To Abort That Baby NOW!," "John Kerry Approves Of You Flushing That Baby NOW!,"If the Kerrys' Church Leaders Approve Of Abortion, How Come True Christians Don't?"
The objective here should be to emphasize Kerry's position approving abortion, his church's official opposition to it and to drive a wedge between Kerry, dems and Catholics and to brand Kerry's wife with the abortionist label. Playing patty-cake with these lying scumbags is a victory for them.
Look at it this way. Assume that some media presstitute actually asks Kerry a hard question. Take any of your signs. "Mr. Kerry some protesters have posted this sign all over... How do you respond?" Kerry would have a canned response that wouldn't do him any harm. He could not respond to one of my signs! Your's are fine but need to be much, much nastier. You are confronting lying, scumbag, baby-killing dems. Fight on their level!!!

Great idea; and the signs are so professional. Is there anyway that you could get some of these signs into Flordia; especially the panhandle which is conservative? We need every vote in FL this go around. The Dems feel that we stole FL from them in 2000 and they are pulling out all the stops. I live in Texas but I am thinking about spendig a week in the FL panhandle registering conservatives to vote.
Is there a website where people could make contributions to help pay for the signs? Do people still have signs left over from 2000 that can be re-used?

The signs will be shippable everywhere. We hope to engage Pro-Life groups in key states that will order in LARGE QUANTITY.
The design will be free to use by any pro-lifers and we will have the sign manufacturer's info available on our site once we get a final design.

That picture of the pregnant lady is very old. It's been on pro-life literature for more than 15 years. It looks very "old fashioned". Signs must not have much detail on them. Motorists can't catch the detail in just a few seconds. The fewer the words, the better. Billboards that make the greatest impact are those which are the simplest. Just use words.
Suggestions:
Life...an unalienable right. Vote Pro-life.
Life...a beautiful choice. Vote Pro-life.
Protect the innocents. Vote Pro-life.
Protect our nation's future. Vote Pro-life.
You were given life. Allow others the same gift. Vote Pro-life.

The new sign is too dark and has too much minute detail to be noticed from a passing vehicle. The old sign is much better. Stick with your initial instinct.

This war will not be won by getting down in the mud with the pigs. Any such "nasty" signs which you advocate will turn off people who may be won over by reason, as opposed to hysterical and provocative slogans which the dems will have field day refuting.
Look, I agree with you in principle, but this message has got to be presented in a manner which will have an impact on those "not in the choir."

Yup. Keep it simple, and use colors which attract the eye. I reiterate that your original sign is far superior to the newly proposed one.
