Does John Kerry, who supports higher automobile fuel economy standards, own a gas-guzzling SUV? He does, but says it belongs to the family, not to him.
...snip...
``I want cars to be made in Michigan, made in America, made'' by the United Auto Workers, Kerry said.

You'll have to ask the poster who posted that.

I thought he only admitted to one SUV.
Where did this come from?

He'd better watch out. One of those crazy SUV's is probably going to freak out and kill him. Those damn things are dangerous!

My Chev Avalance was made in Mexico as are most of Suburbans.

He does, but says it belongs to the family, not to him.It they would just finance the darn things, they would then belong to "the bank." That would solve the whole mess. Just like he did the mansion....

The Cherokee is actually made at the Jefferson Plant in Detroit.
So he does have at least one American made car, oops, make it that his WIFE has an American made car.

Kerry was seen taking this vehicle, the "family car" to a local 7-11 to buy a bottle of Del Monte ketchup.

The Dumbass should be forced to go to his campaign stops in a Geo Metro.

Sooo-- he shows his tax returns, he does not have an SUV, he is clean as driven snow (well after a good day of it sitting on the Mass Pike that is)--but he ensures his wife has everything he would deprieve us of if he got have a chance.
Really nice guy.

Hope the Bush team makes a TV campaign ad out of this one. Here's the "kausfiles" take on it:
Kerry: "I Didn't Inhale My SUV" [LOL!]If cameras were rolling, Bush has another ad: "I don't own an SUV. ... The family has it. I don't have it," says Senator Kerry, speaking of the Chevy Suburban his wife keeps in their Ketchum, Idaho home.
Must be more mordant post-modern commentary on the absurdity of campaigning! ... What it really is is ... how to put it? ... pathetic. I hew to my earlier suggestion:
By July 26 it could be clear to everyone except about 3,000 delegates to the Democratic convention that Kerry is not cutting it against Bush (even though Bush is very beatable).
But change "could" to "will.". ... 6:29 P.M.

What a weasel!

It's the same liberal hypocrisy that Bobby Kennedy junior was caught in when he derided ordinary people from driving gas guzzling cars while he flew alone in private jets.

The last thing "Liberals"/Democrats want is truth. Truth is their enemy.
Rush is right. "Liberals"/Democrats are afraid that you will understand them and what they stand for. They don't want you to know--for obvious reasons.
