I meant "can't" as in not allowed, not as in not able. JimRob has decreed a ban on the posting of articles from the Independent.

It's interesting that the library has a book on math. (And another on statistics.) I guess that's ok; the curriculum only has two high-school level math courses.
Their course listings have less in the way of physics, chemistry, math, and music than I got in high-school 45 years ago.

Sounds like a fine institution! I wonder if I could persuade them to pay me royalties for using the name?

I'm sure they're all nice kids and hard studiers etc. etc. But, geez, what a bunch of dorks. I worry about people who don't go at least a little crazy during college.

There are a lot of people who don't go crazy. I don't worry about them.
There is a big world out there filled with fine folks who never had the need to do this.

Hmmm...interesting. A part of me thinks it's a great idea to have a college far removed from cesspool that fills many bowls of university thought these days. Another part thinks, "Gee, the only school in the country less fun than the Citadel."

There are a lot of people who don't go crazy. I don't worry about them. I don't know. Life isn't complete until you've done something stupid in your youth that you'll regret. It seems to me, the learning environment at this place is just as ideologically limited as at a liberal university, just in a different direction.

You mean, got to Patrick Henry College?

"The campus is immaculate, everyone is clean-cut and cheerful. But just what are they teaching at Patrick Henry College? And why do so many students end up working for George Bush?"
Arghhh! Stepford Students!
What is it about clean living that so freaks out the left?

For example? I'm not totally sure. My late teens and early twenties are pretty hazy, but I do remember something involving a donkey, a Mexican hooker and a bunch of midgets. And cole slaw. Lots of cole slaw.

Believe me, most people got a better high school education 40+ years ago, than is offered at many colleges, today.

True, but one would have hoped that the "font of interns" would be better than the usual college.
