every "earth responsible" person should shove a cork up their butt to save the environment."
Though you mean this in jest, these delusional atheist liberal communists probably use ideas like your's for their consistent attacks against mankind.
Yes, should they ever gain real power I can see them using this argument for forced sterilization and abortion, and euthanazia. It only gets worse from there... the tired old emptying of the cities, re-education camps, killings of intellectuals, starvation of millions. And finally... Soylent Green.

Parents are urged to get in tune with their infant's body signals and hold babies over toilets, buckets and shrubbery or any other convenient receptacle when nature calls.

"The thought of garbage spewing and sprawling landfills filled me with horror..." No doubt the thought of raging typhus and cholera from uncontrolled human waste and garbage filled this bozo's great-grandparents with horror as they contemplated losing a third of their children to these periodic epidemics which ravaged entire families. They need to take more strolls in old graveyards for their history lessons.
We should thank the Lord for modern sanitation, sewer systems and landfills!
These people have waaaaay too much time and prosperity on their hands. Maybe they should move to Liberia or Sierra Leone where they can enjoy the fruits of turd-world natural living?

"I too have read anecdotal stories about moms holding two year olds out after feeding and the kids go on command,..." We may have something here. Take well-fed Freeper tots to a Kerry rally and on Mom's command... Now there's a message to Mr. Kerry and what we think of his so-called plans for our country.

"Observation and close bonding interaction help the parent to understand the baby's signals, body language and timing rhythms," Bauer writes in the frequently asked questions section of her website heck, i have enough trouble decoding when the dang DOG needs to go out, let alone an infant! it is still a miracle to me that my 3 kids potty trained, was never sure how i did that.

Keep in mind if this becomes popular, parents will have to carry around a poop-scooper and a plastic bag to clean it up like people have to do when walking their dogs.

I meant to say in my comment about my experience at the outdoor cafe that it was Switzerland of all places.

"In my mind, diapers became the symbol of the Evil Empire of Western Parenting in which babies must suffer to accommodate the needs of their parents' broken-continuum culture: a controlled, sterile, odorless, wall-to-wall carpeted fortress in which to live with the illusion of dominion over nature,"
These people are way to stupid to be allowed to have Children

Well, now I know these people, and Al Gore, are insane...as though I needed more evidence. Waterless unrinal? Oh my goodness!!!. There are a lot of places in the world where people, and kids, just go whereever. They have human waste running down street side canals. And the health situation is just wonderful. Disease is rampant. Boy, that is how I want to live. If you put a stop to the flush toilet as they want...that is what we will have. Raw sewage running in lagoons or canals by our streets. Wonderful smells and a daily disease of your choice. Great life.

They say in the article that flush toilets should be eliminated because of the water issues. That we should use earthen toilets, ie...out houses like my parents had in the 30s when they were growing up. Yeah, I'd like to see that...toilets outlawed...out houses in every back yard....then in a few years...out houses will be outlawed because they are polluting the ground water, and of course we can't have pollution of the ground water. So,
s#*@ing will be outlawed. you will just have to hold it forever.

Stories like this make me want to club a baby seal over the head. ...using an environmentalist as the club!
Then cooking the seal meat over a warm glowing fire of burning tires and petroleum waste.
