Odd. I know that most diaper 'innards' now will gel and break down very quickly...especially after it gets wet. As far as the plastic outside goes, that is less plastic than a plastic spoon for a picnic. If they are griping about that, they are nuts. Our cars leave more rubber on the road after driving for a week on pavement.
