Haven't heard this on Fox yet. Hannity is arguing with Charlie Rangel right now.

How many counts? What charges?

Wow! The ninth circus will eventually set him free for whatever reason they can make up. It must involve a federal concern somewhere.

I thought he was indicted months ago. Are these new charges?

From ABC News Website:

— A grand jury investigating allegations that Michael Jackson molested a boy has indicted the 45-year-old singer, ABCNEWS has learned.

The panel has been meeting in Santa Barbara, Calif., for 13 days to consider whether there is enough evidence to charge the pop star. The precise charges handed down against the singer were not immediately known.

The indictment means the grand jury concluded there is enough evidence to believe that Jackson has committed a crime and should face trial.

The indictment expedites the case against Jackson directly to the Santa Barbara Superior Court for trial. Jackson now face arraignment, where he will be given the opportunity to enter a plea. After the arraignment, the judge will set a date for trial.

In January, Jackson was earlier on a prior felony complaint. He pleaded not guilty to the seven counts of lewd acts upon a child and two counts of administering an intoxicating agent.

Jackson is already out on $3 million bail from his previous arraignment. While the district attorney could ask for a new bond hearing, the stipulations of his release will likely remain the same.

Good, Jacksons actions since this whole thing started are deploreable. I hope he does some serious time for molesting those kids which I do believe he is guilty of.

I thought grand juries were called when prosecutors don't have enough confidence in their case to go straight to court. Thus, they get a "conviction" by a "jury" based soley on the prosecution's evidence.

This is not a good sign given the defense that Jackson's millions will be able to garner. We will probably see another "OJ" phenomenon (known as "jury nullification") wherein no amount of evidence will result in a conviction of a "favorite son" (as it were). IMO, the guy is unbalanced and probably a child molester who, if convicted, should be sent to prison for 75+ years for irreparably damaging the lives of young boys. We shall see.
