A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 4/20/04

President Bush headed to Buffalo, NY today to discuss Homeland Defense and specifically, the Patriot Act. Bush made his case that if parts of the Act expire, it could weaken our homeland defense. The President then headed to NYC for a victory luncheon fundraiser. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura headed to Louisville, KY to attend and award ceremony. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I was a victim of identity theft too...
Somebody in S.C. used my name and identity at a Wal-Mart down there...
I have never been to S.C in my life....
I used to give out business cards when I had my Antique shop..not sure if that's how it happened or not...
At any rate, somebody had a Christmas shopping spree om me..
It was a huge mess...I know just how you feel, Gretchen...
Without trying to sound dramatic..it's a violation of our privacy and identity...
I'm still plenty mad about it to this day!

I believe freedom is not America's gift to the world; I believe freedom is the almighty God's gift to each man and women in this world.

I love this quote. I've heard him say it a time or two before. Great pictures as always. Thanks.

Hey Nebraska...
Sorry I missed you!
Was trying to help a friend cruise through Free republic tonight via IM...
Mr.B says he glad you didn't get any tornados!
I am too! I went through one, well, almost..that touched down in Johnstown (sp?) Ne.,
just north of Ainsworth...that was really frightening!
Hope to catch you tomorrow!
Love and hugs...

Go to the Bush/Cheney website and click on your state to see if there are any parties in your neighborhood. It would be a great chance to meet some conservatives in your town even though most of them would be older. It's still nice to make those connections. Plus, you'd all be eating great food and supporting the President all at the same time. I believe the parties that have registered through the website are supposed to get a conference call from VP Cheney.

We're (the college repubs) are throwing a party for him. We don't know how many people will be there, but I've promised to make my little GOP Elephant cookies.

I know she used to sing a bit. I figure we'll be in the heavenly choir together.

Not sure if her husband will make the cut, though.....

He can be the heavenly poet. :)

Karen Hughes is doing a book signing in SanDiego on Monday, the 26th. I'm wanting to go, but my mom has been ill so it may be too late to get in. I sure hope I can see her though because I would love to have an autographed book. Keep your fingers crossed.

The one in the FResno area should be big. Are JimRob and all those guys going to your party?

I think it's an awesome idea. I think there are three to four planned for this very liberal area of Az. We have a couple of City Council members and candidates coming to speak. I'm looking forward to it.

Yes, do clarify.

Tell him it is Republican Chelsea from Arizona who plans on voting for him.

Your strawberry pie recipe looks wonderful. I have one similar [to both the pecan and the strawberry] in that it has a layer of lemon on top of the cream cheese. Sorta like a lemon curd. I'm going to have to make one soon, it has been too long.

Hmmm, I may be wrong but I thought we were made perfect when we got to Heaven?

And even if we aren't, Scripture says for us to sing with a joyful noise. It didn't say ON KEY, or with OPERATIC TONES or even WITH PERFECT PITCH!!! And notice the phrase - joyful NOISE.

So relax. Even this side of the Pearlies, your vocal abilities are still an offering to God even if your family and people near you don't think so! So, Sing on!
