You have a point about the distinction between today's liberals and classical liberals of the past who helped create our political institutions. But I still think that today's liberal is in a state of perpetual adolescent rebellion; the vulgarity he creates in the arts is symptomatic of his alientation from life and from society, and he seeks salvation through liberation by (enslavement to) a supposedly purer, natural force, whether that be an uprising by the Black man, the proletariat, or radical Islam - anyone will do, as long as his aim is the destruction of bourgeois society.

You're on to something. Much like Englishmen like Lawrence, who was captivated by the stark vistas of Arabia along with the austere life of the Arab which included Islam and many other Westerners (H. Philby) who fell in love with the demanding and strict doctrines of Islam, the lefties seek a spiritual purge without formally acknowledging religion. They agree with the anti captialistist financial laws of islam which could easily be plugged into existing lefty doctrine.
Much like the Englishmen of yesteryear, they admire the strictness of Islam which they secretly covet and admire enviously for the piety of its adherents and the intensity of the islamis faith.

You write of today's liberal: "he seeks salvation through liberation by (enslavement to) a supposedly purer, natural force"
This is chilling and accurate. Chilling because it means that today's liberal is in revolt against the creation, and like the gnostic heresy of the first centuries of the church, finds no meaning or value in the creation, and would just as soon destroy the world.

If they raid our homes, it could lead to the covenant of security being broken.

Welfare feeds the terror state. A society has to have the highest regard for life and reasonable and good laws in order for welfare to work -- without it breeding despair, misery and terror preferentially.

Just to make a necessary elaboration to above, Good, ample food, and minimal clothing, shelter and minimal basic medical care are not "welfare". Money and goods and service beyond that ... breeding grounds if society itself is not a high moral and ethical standards culture -- one that values life supremely.

Interesting points you both make. I think a lot of this goes back to 19th Century Romanticism, which took a strand of Enlightenment thought (that of Rousseau) and carried it way too far. Oddly enough, even though the "noble savage" concept sees man as unfettered by society, etc., the "savages" admired by the 19th century lived sunk in irrational laws and custom.
The supposedly "authentic" pre-industrial cultures of Europe which Romantic political thinkers attempted to recover through various nationalist movements, the innocent and free [Africans, American Indians, etc.], and Muslim cultures all lived bound by unexamined laws and taboos and subject to strict heirarchical authority. Yet Romantic thinkers saw this as being somehow pure and free, and saw in these "natural" societies something they could use to destroy their tedious, rational, demanding and undramatic bourgeois societies.
Romantics really do worship what they perceive to be strength - that is, irrational force - and this is one of the attractions of Islam for them.
Another thing about Romantics/liberals is that they always think they are going to be on the top of the heirarchical pyramid when they install their new world order. They were probably surprised in Germany when not all of them made it into the Ubermensch category, surprised under Stalin that somehow they had become enemies of the people, and they will probably be surprised again under Islam when some illiterate mullah has the power to call for their deaths.

"I made a decision that I wanted to follow what Islam really said," Sayful begins, sitting on his sofa in his thowb (a traditional robe) and bare feet. "I went to listen to all the local imams, but I found their portrayal of Islam was too secularised. When I heard Sheikh Omar [the leader] of al-Muhajiroun speak, it was pure Islam, with no compromise. I found that appealing. Radical Islam is an insane murder cult, "moderate" Islam is its Trojan Horse in the West.

These "militant Islamic" welfare breeding cockroaches -- that accept a free ride from the big the devil infidels, and then actually preach a cult strategy to destroy the hand that feeds them - should be deported to live amongst the rats they admire.
Those that refuse to leave, should be destroyed.
Simple as that.
