According to an article Rush just read, Jamie Gorelick was quietly asked by Commission Chairman Thomas Kean to resign from the 9/11 commission due to conflict of interest. According to an unnamed staffer, she refused. Should we start a poll on how long she lasts?

I think the outcome of the 911 investigation will be that the Democrat attempt to hang the Clinton failings on President Bush failed. It is fun watching this come about more and more in spite of the lamestream press trying to torpedo it.

I'm beginning to wonder what mental illness afflicts so many Republican members of Congress. It's called reelection.
It's also called 900+ FBI files in the hands of the DNC and Klintonistas!
We will NEVER be safe until we turn out ALL of the compromised Pols!
Plus, if the real truth got out, there would be absolutely NO confidence in the Gub'Mint...and we just can't have that...can we?

I called last week to complain about Kean and Kerry being on radio shows, talking as if the results of the commission were a foregone conclusion. I called twice, once to the DC office and once to NY. The first woman listened but then told me to put my complaint in writing and mail it to the commission. The second guy said the same thing and added that these lines were really informational only and had no way to pass information on to the commissioners. I told him that that figured, since Kean was laughing about all the complaints that would come into the info line about his appearance on Imus.

"A few more days of this and the commission's work will be tainted."I've got news for the staffer who said that: The commission's work is already tainted. It was tainted from the git-go.
It was a terrible idea to begin with, cooked up by those self-important and self-deluded Professional Widows, and hijacked by corrupt Democrat hacks.

Hatch doesn't exactly say she should stay. I read it as he's diplomatically calling for her to "do the right thing", i.e. "step down".

I'll bite. How did Bob Kerrey get on the 911 Commission?

Black and white proof and Daschle calls the charges baseless?

I just saw Anna Quinlan on CNN. She calls the Move0n.org wives, "...the true heroes of the Commission". She identifies them as "The Jersey Girls" (puke). CNN stooge Aaron Brown beamed.

Just heard this on Fox - Tom DeLay was saying some not so kind things about the commission. Kean was not happy and said the next time Tom had comments, would he please pick up the phone and call him.
I guess Kean doesn't want to be chastised in public when he's been a bad boy.

You guys don't get it, do you? I don't know about the other "guys", but I get it, and I think most of them do, too.
But hope you feel better after having your little fit there.

Nah, those widows are just stage setting, placed there to react like part of the audience on a Jerry Springer production.
The real designers of this commission were the Clintonistas. This thing was created for two reasons, one was bring Bush down, the second and maybe most important reason was to deflect evidence of responsibility for 9/11 from the Clinton administration.

You have to wonder what fantasy world the Republican leadership lives in when they select ineffectual retired politicians like Orrin Hatch and Thomas Kean for the 9-11 commission, Since Hatch is neither retired or on the commission I didn't read the rest of what was shaping up to be one big whine.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Every Democrat on the Commission is there to protect Clinton. The job of every Democrat everywhere is to protect Clinton, and by extension...themselves. If there was ever a full, honest investigation into the Clinton years, it would destroy the Democrat party for generations. And they all know it.

How else could the stupidity that infested the clinton crew get swept under the rug? Be audacious. Do it in plain sight. No one will believe it.

Remember during impeachment when some guy up in the public seats, yelled out..."Get on with it and vote!" Or something like that. Turned out to be a Democrat plant placed there to add mockery to the event. That's what the MoveOn.org "Jersey Girls" remind me of. Democrats always plant someone (Code Pink witches at Rumsfeld speech) in the audience of every event to disrupt and demean.
