April 16, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - New questions surfaced yesterday about 9/11 commissioner Jamie Gorelick's potential conflicts of interest after it was revealed she was more deeply involved in anti-terror efforts than has previously been known. Records obtained by The Post show that Gorelick, while serving in a top job at the Justice Department, met every two weeks with George Tenet, then the No. 2 official at the CIA, and headed then-Attorney General Janet Reno's national-security team.

Was Gorelick the point person for the "vast right wing conspiracy" conspiracy? Was she going after real terrorist or conservative Americans? If she was so big on terrorism, why wasn't Clarke included in her meetings?

It's just more of the RINO trying to make friends with the dims. But .. after what DeLay said today, and Kean told DeLay if he had problems with the commission he should pick up the phone, I suspect Kean will be getting a phone call with one sentence .. Remove Gorelick from the commission, and tell Daschle the replacement CANNOT be a former member of the Clinton admin.

I'm guessing of course .. but I know the President is very upset about this commission, so are several members of congress, as well as Condi, Ashcroft, Tenant, Mueller, etc. I think Kean is skating on thin ice.

Great find!!! Too bad all we can do is be reactionaries to such obvious EVIL!!! The terrible triumverate of H.R.C., Reno and Gorelick has been and still is dreadful indeed!!!

It's like peeling an onion and it almost brings tears to a patriotic American's eyes... Tears of rage!!! They are so proud of crushing the uplifting effect of the "Contract With America!"

I think they're just as proud that America is cursed with this WOT as they see it as the means to "bring it all down" to the lowest common denominator... Socialism!!! That's their vision for our future and I despise them for it.

A guy on Rush just said Gorelick was put on the committee so she WOULDN'T have to testify!! He's is 100% correct!

This guy nailed it. It explains why she is refusing to budge at all costs to the nation, and why she doesn't have a helpful attitude toward the commission.

A normal person would say, "Hey I have some knowledge that might help the public understand what was going on and why certain decisions were made. It's more important that I be on the record with my knowledge. Any Joe Blow can ask the questions. Plus, now my being up here is causing national strife and loss of confidence in our work."

Sort of interesting that Daschle appointed Gorelick to this commission. Daschle was an Intelligence Officer in the Army.

No matter who appointed her, Gorelick now has more power than the President and Condi (who both had to bow to the political pressure to testify), and she has the power to sink or make the next President.

And think about poor Bill Clinton. He had to testify in private and lie again about stuff that Gorelick was probably responsible for! America is now Jamie's Wonderland. The key to 9/11 is hidden in plain sight.
