[history]
April 15, 2004 -- House Judiciary Committee Chairman James Sensenbrenner has demanded the resignation of Jamie Gorelick as a member of the federal 9/11 Commission. Frankly, given her blatant conflicts of interest, she should never have been appointed in the first place.

Its' all, to protect the Clintoons' Legacy.

Gorelick (put on the Committee by Daschle)
not only created the background for the 911 Atrocities but now is covering it up
for the terrorists.
Gorelick is a litigation partner of Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering.
which represents Prince Mohammed al-Faisal al-Saud, the House of Saud,
against a lawsuit filed by a coalition of 600 Sept. 11 families.

In his slam of the FBI and CIA last evening, including insinuations that John Ashcroft was hiding something and Janet Reno was candid with the commission, Ted Koppel did not even mention Gorelick.

Let's step back and take a deep breath here.
From the beginning the fact that this commission's purview would encompass the Bush AND Clinton administration's actions (and lack thereof), there was the possibility of it being a godsend for our side. Seven months vs eight years; this presents a huge obstacle for those trying to pin incompetence on the one with short tenure, and people instinctively know this from their own life experiences. A sense of fairness is not required, simply common sense.
Once again, the Dem tactics have backfired in public, for all to see. The simple truth is that, if we're going to attempt to place blame (and that is the commission's fatal mistake) then the incompetence of the previous administration will eventually be exposed. Note that the fact that the Ashcroft bombshell had to be dropped in his opening statement, as he knew the questions would not lead the commission to uncover this fact. Also note that the commission's zeal to declassify what turned out to be a harmless document allowed him to pre-declassify the one most damaging to the other side with impunity.
The committee has been exposed, and the Clinton administration's PANDORA'S BOX has been opened, IMHO.

Who decided Gorelick (GORE-LICK) had the credientials and requirements to be on the commission anyway? IMHO...The Broomrider Herself, $hrillary. Gorelick, is a $hrillary Lackey..like Reno.
The Clintoons HAD to have someone in the 9/11 Commission to protect their Glorious legacy.

....ditto that
The democratic party has lost touch with it's own people.
It will be interesting to watch the inevitable back peddling
that is to follow.
One fine slippery slope

As it turns out, the memo is just the tip of the iceberg concerning Gorelick's questionable fitness as a member of the panel. That's because she's a litigation partner in one of Washington's most high-powered Democratic law firms - Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering. And that firm represents Prince Mohammed al-Faisal al-Saud, a member of the Saudi royal family and director of a key Saudi financial agency, against a lawsuit filed by a coalition of 600 Sept. 11 families.Fox News interviewed Linda Chavez this morning. She pointed out that Daschle and Gephardt appointed Gorelick to this commission.

Though Gorelick may not be litigating the lawsuit, as a partner she profits from her firm's work for the Saudi prince. She'll probably just say that's not a big deal, she and her firm have erected another wall, this time, a "Chinese wall"........so, were's the conflict?
She should be removed from the panel.

What we need now is a commission to investigate this commission. Lots of perjury designed to damage Bush and glorify Clinton IMHO.

The Clinton Admin could have hardly set the table for Al Qeada any better if they were a sleeper cell themselves... From their inactions, one could assume they were. BTW, why hasn't the mediots asked Klintoon if he's sorry about 9/11? Where's the outcry from the mediots about what he and his administration could have/should have done differently during the eight years prior to 9/11? About what were his/their mistakes? Reno/Gorelick comes to mind. Refusing to take bin Laden on a silver platter comes to mind. Cutting back on intelligence capabilities comes to mind. Gutting the military comes to mind.

Consider it Freeped:
To the 9-11 Commission Panel members:
I am truly disgusted with the actions and statements of Commission Chairman, Mr. Thomas Kean. As an American, I am equally disgusted with Commission member Jamie Gorelick and demand that Mr. Kean remove Ms. Gorelick from any further 'service' on the Federal 9-11 Commision panel immediately.
She has been less than truthful concerning her own complicity in the events that led to the murder of 3000 Americans on September 11th, 2001. Her presence on this panel when juxtaposed with her actions while working for the Clinton Administration is a conflict of interest that should be rectified by her immediate dismissal.
Mr. Kean's statement that "People ought to stay out of our business" exposes him as well as a partisan Democratic hack. If he has any shred of integrity, he will send her packing and get on with conducting the PEOPLE'S business.
Regards,
A concerned American
