Rush just said it on the air! If that is not enough to remove Conservative support from Spector, I dont know what is.

Main Street Partnership donated to Spector and Soros donated $50,000 to them.

Spector:
1) No connection with Main Street Partnership
2) No knowledge of Soros donations

Claims to suffer the same type of misreporting that is given to Rush. Trying to build sympathy.

Specter can deny it. According to
this link, he's a member. From the link:
The 64 congressmen belonging to the partnership, including Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter, have bucked Republican leaders by voting with Democrats on their opposition to Bush's tax cuts and their support for spending more on the environment and health care. Republicans control the Senate with 51 of 100 votes and the House with 228 of 435 seats, which often can give the Mainstreet Partnership lawmakers a decisive bloc of votes.

What a puss.
If he does not categorically deny it, or I don't believe him. Says he has 'no knowledge'. I hope Rush busts him on going after Democrats support in the primary.

Just donated to Toomey. It's time to send Spector home and get Washington moving in a positive direction.
He's droning on at Rush right now...zzzzz....zzzzz......
To: Incorrigible
listening over the internet, so I get a minute's delay.
Rush better ask him about Gorelick.

Good link. Under Scottish rules, I think he's allowed to deny he's a member though! :-)

Given the situation Specter is in with the primary, calling into Rush's show is quite a shrewd move, in the political sense. If Toomey is in fact the person who released this info, it gave Specter an opening to get on Rush's show and is going to cause more harm than good...unless some other shoe drops showing Specter's denial is completely false.
To: mewzilla
I hope he gets re-elected. If he does, he is the new head of the Judiciary committee...and he will know he owes his victory to Bush BIG TIME...
re-read my tagline...
...Toomey, even if he could win in PA statewide, which I doubt, would be in charge of the sheep dip...
