Rush Limbaugh

Rush just said it on the air! If that is not enough to remove Conservative support from Spector, I dont know what is.

Don't worry, Spect didn't know about it at all and doesn't know him, but is willing to take the $30 anyway. LOL

Spector is the Liberal's best friend. They are not setting Specter up, they are trying to make sure that their puppet becomes Chairman of the Judicial committee, at which time, his FBI file will insure that he does their bidding.
You nailed it! This fits well within how Soros and company operate worldwide.
Rev. Billy Graham 1972 - "This stranglehold has got to be broken or the country's going down the drain."
To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
My question is - does anyone know if Soros is an American citizen? Can he donate to elections here if he isn't?
To: Cboldt
Houghton's retiring, thank Heaven. Though the weenies running to replace him are pretty sad. I win't be able to listen to Limbaugh today. If he says anything about Specter, and you get a chance to listen, would you let me know?
To: Cboldt
BTW, in the interest of full disclosure and since you stumbled on one of my pet peeves, that article you just posted from the Star-Gazette? Well, the S-G does NOT have a DC bureau, not even a phone in a closet, and Machacek works for Gannett. Tells you a lot about that paper, doesn't it?

Sure, I'll let you know if I hear Limbaugh mention the Toomey/Specter race, or see a thread on the subject.

GEORGE SOROS FUNDING ARLEN SPECTER!!!!!
AND I'M SURE YOU WILL HAVE HEARD ARLEN SPECTER HIMSELF SAYING ON RUSH'S SHOW THAT HE RECEIVED AN UNSOLICITED DONATION FROM AN ORGANIZATION AND THAT AT SOME TIME PREVIOUSLY SOROS HAD MADE AN DONATION TO THAT ORGANIZATION. NOT QUITE THE SAME THING AS "SOROS FUNDING ARLEN SPECTER!!!!!". AND EVEN IF HE DID, KNOWING THAT IT SOME PEOPLE WOULD REACT IN A KNEE-JERK FASHION AND BACK OFF FROM SUPPORT FROM SPECTER, IT'S HUMOROUS, IN A SICK SORT OF WAY, THAT FOLKS ARE STUPID ENOUGH TO FALL FOR IT.
THIS SHOULD BE ENOUGH CAPS TO HOLD YOU FOR A WHILE.

The fact that Soros wants Arlen to win should really make those who want to vote Specter in this primary rethink their position.
Or the fact that Soros wants to hurt Arlen by supporting an organization that sent an unsolicited donation to Specter's campaign. We don't have to look any further than your post and this thread to see how successful he's been. Your notions of political skulduggery are dangerously under-developed.

I've heard that before.
I might find it compelling if the unions, who are in the left's lap, had not been encouraging their members to temporarily re-register as Republicans to back Specter.
Sometimes, support is support. As a matter of fact, most times it is.
The Democrat special interests want Arlen to win against Tooomey.

Specter is a freakin' liar. One of the biggest liars in American history. And Rush who I greatly admire, kissed his butt.

I'm really disappointed with America's Truth Detector.
To: mewzilla
I'd say this is the most disappointed I have ever been with Rush. I noticed Toomey did not get equal time. Rush had to have gotten a lot of complaints for having Spector as a guest, and Rush often mentions the criticisms he gets but not today.
A friend of mine suggested that Spector probably called the white house and got the white house to call Rush and request that Rush have Arlen on as a guest yesterday.
Considering Rush's behavior yesterday and no equal air time for Toomey today, I'd say my friend's explanation is quite plausible.

For Santorum who cloaks himself as pro-life and "catholic" e.g. appearing on EWTN TV, it is a complete disgrace. He is no more Catholic than Kerry is. Bottom line: we have gotten absolutely nothing from these "republicans" - they are all vermin. Stay at home and let them - and the nation rot - cause it ain't gonna' be settled by them.
Bottom line...you ain't conservative. You're a nut. Go back to DU disruptor.

Caller to Limbaugh today mentioned his giving of time to Specter.
Limbaugh - there was a story that an organization that Specter benefits from obtained a $50,000 donation from Soros, and Specter called Limbaugh to rebut the charge. Limbuagh goes on the say that Limbaugh asked Specter about the 9/11 committee. "It's up to listeners to judge whether the cahrge was true." Limbaugh is saying that the charge that Specter got a donation directly from Soros is false.
Caller is reminding Limbaugh that Toomey is conservative. Limbaugh is saying it's good news that Toomey is gaining ground, and that the GOP is nervous about Specter. ALso that Bush and Santorum support makes people wonder about GOP core principles - that support for incumbents only is cause for concern.
Limbaugh is saying he is glad the person called and brought it up. Moving on to Iraq stories.

Does anyone know whether the RMSP/MSIF is affiliated or otherwise connected to the N.C. Republican Mainstreet Committee?
They're a 527 here in North Carolina that is running radio ads in support of the NC House's RINO co-Speaker Richard Morgan primary campaign. Here's an article about them:

Ad campaign defends Morgan's cooperation
MARK JOHNSON
Raleigh Bureau
RALEIGH - Allies of N.C. House Republican Co-Speaker Richard Morgan have organized a new political committee and scheduled statewide radio commercials starting today praising Morgan and the GOP leadership in the House.
"It is because of strong leaders like Speaker Morgan," House Majority Leader Joe Kiser, R-Lincoln, says in the ad airing on talk radio stations today, that "Republicans were able to shape a legislative agenda that focused on finding real solutions to real problems."
Kiser did not vote for Morgan as co-speaker last year.
The ads attempt to highlight accomplishments under Morgan's stewardship and draw attention away from a split among House Republicans. Morgan, whose original dozen allies have grown in number, has been at odds with a majority of Republican House members on most contentious votes since last year when he and Democrat Jim Black of Matthews were elected co-speakers. The duo has led a coalition of all 59 Democrats plus Morgan's Republicans.
Morgan said he wants Republican voters to hear about achievements made by "working in a spirit of cooperation and progress."
"I don't think the public has heard that yet," Morgan said. "They've just heard from the folks that want to advance gloom and doom and don't have any vision for the future."
The N.C. Republican Mainstreet Committee is an issue advocacy committee, commonly called a "527" in recognition of the tax code that allows such organizations. The groups do not have to disclose donors and can run ads promoting or criticizing a candidate but are prohibited from explicitly calling for a candidate's election or defeat. The group may not coordinate with a campaign.

Well if that isn't the endorsement to defeat Specter, I don't know what is. We had our chance with Toomey, and failed. Now we ought to support Specter in the general. Hold yer nose and do it.
