Leftist Air America Radio off the air in L.A., Chicago

Sorry for the vanity, but this is information I thought Freepers would like to hear about.

Apparently due to unresolved contractual disputes, the Los Angeles and Chicago affiliates of leftist Air America Radio have pulled the programming from their airwaves and returned to local programming.

I'm hearing this second hand, so if anyone has verifiable information or clarifications, please post them.

Personally, I'd just as soon have them stay on the air. It is the radio analog to DU. Can you imagine what would happen to the left if oh say, a third of the country knew what they actually believe?

I say let's take up a collection to keep them on the air and spewing their BS. It's the best recruiting tool we could ever dream of having.

And, being bailed out by Conservatives would embarrass the **** out of them.

Things probably started downhill when they interviewed Kerry. I'm presuming they interviewed Botoxboy, but then again, maybe not. They were probably saving him until July and the big convention gala....bad decision. Botox is moving around Kerry's face like a bunch of ant colonies. His eyelids, cheekbones, all swollen...like bad breast implants. He'll end up looking like Eric Stoltz in The Mask. Uh, well, he already does.

My wife and daughter look at me like Im crazy when I listen to that music. But its always upbeat even if i dont understand it.

I even watch spanish soaps for the arguments sometimes.

Speaking of the papers: would you believe it! On the front page of The Boston Globe today, below the fold, a story about Kerry's purple heart citations being called into question. Chickens coming home to roost? We hope so.
