ATTENTION ALL:
Another Freeper watching Chris Mathews implode in his pre-game show!
Howard Fineman said it's all Condi's fault, that as National Security Director it was her responsibility to put all the info together and inform the president. Then Chris says, all she did was try and be interested in what the president was interested in...sort of like his butler !!
He really said that!!! I sure hope Rush was listening....just imagine if a republican or Sean, or Rush had called a black democrat little more than a "House N-word" That's what it was..that's what Mathews was implying, and believe me, he knew immediately what he said, because he added, "I say that advisably".
Can't wait to see if Chris Mathews takes heat for this!!
BTW....Fineman and Mathews agree that Tenet is safe...that he's a "made man", a la mafia. How's that for another ethnic slur!!

Chris Mathews is a PigHEAR HEAR!! I couldn't have said it better myself.
The left IS imploding, their thinly veiled racism being only one aspect that is finally being exposed to the American voters.
Chrissy hates a successful African-American female conservative. Too bad he doesn't acknowlege that there are also African-American females serving in Iraq today, defending his sorry butt. But their families and communities DO!

I'm not commenting much on this thread because I'm on the "live" 9/11 Commission thread and listening to George Tenet testify.
However, I am beyond appalled at Matthew's comments.
Taken with Sen. Chris Dodd's comments a few weeks ago that Senator Byrd would have led the country through the Civil War and how the malignant leftists condemned Trent Lott's comments to Senator Thurmond, I do not understand how it is that the Republicans have permitted themselves to be painted the racist party.

I called NBC at 202-885-4200 (DC office) and got transferred to Chris Matthews office. I started complaining and the guy cut me off and told me to call MSNBC. He said this is NBC. I told him, "oh David Gregory is a bias jerk too".
So I called MSNBC at 201-583-5000 to complain.
I've only been able to get hold of a viewer comment line. I've called three times and have told the guy I will call all day until I get through to a real person.

I have given up on cable news and regular news almost completely unless there is something breaking. I get my news from my local, wonderful paper, The Oklahoman, and from the Internet. Doesn't make me as mad to read as it does to listen!

Thanks for posting this Peach. I'll be interested to see if even one other person besides me was watching MSNBC as the hearings began.
I couldn't quite believe I heard what I heard. Chris Mathews inate racism was exposed, and he knew it immediately. It was the ultimate insult he could heap on Condi Rice, and that was his intent. He and Fineman were on a "get Condi" roll, each attempting to blame her for all the mistakes they wanted Bush to admit to last night.
Why would they do this? Not because they are racists, even though Fineman felt the need to condescendingly comment on how intelligent she is. (Like Kerrey did at the hearings, and Condi Rice has always found it insulting for white people to vocalize surprise that she's so articulate. She knows it really means. "articulate for a black person")
I think Mathews, Fineman, all democrats fear that a black republican woman has the ability to supplant the false claim that Hillary is the smartest woman on the planet

Good morning, PhiKapMom and Prairie.
Each day I think the malignant leftists can't sink any lower and each day they sink further into the mud.

I also saw Matthews say that about Condi, and I switched the channel. It's best to watch this on C-Span. How does Matthews have ratings? BTY, Howard Fineman's hair is dyed too dark.

YaYa - you will be interested that Dr. Scarpetta heard the comments as well, so you are not alone.

If Mr. Mathews start saying things like Condoleeza Rice is "Bush's butler," that tells me way too many volumes about just how blatantly
racist the Left has become.
Between this and the recent Doonesbury strip, this is definitely more good reason NOT to support the Democrats this coming Presidential election.

Count me in your boycott -- you can throw in CNN, ABC, NBC, and CBS and actually most of Fox. I listen to the radio especially Rush now that he has got the old fire back -- been great recently. Only breaking news I read on here will get me to turn on my TV to cable news during the day -- not going to watch a bunch of lamebrains attack the President and undermine our military in a time of war.

Was that Chris Donahue on MSNBC or was it Phil Matthews? I can't tell their ratings apart.
