How many days was clinton out of the country flying around and entertaining himself? As well as taking his annual vacation....here, there, and anywhere he could find some else's home to spend it in. Good point, haven't heard that mentioned at all. Just the 'horror' of how "Bush spent the month of August 2001 in Texas"...

To me, they are nitpicking out of context remarks and will weave them all together to make it look like Bush saw that PDB and went back to chopping wood. I confessed to redlipstick already that I broke my pledge for one solitary minute this morning and took a peek at MSNBC in time to hear Chris Matthews say as far as we know the president was shown the PDB on his way to play golf.
I immediately resumed my MSNBC boycott.

But... but...
The moron peaceniks say that there is no connection between OBL/Al Qaeda because Iraq is a SECULAR country, and OBL hated Saddam!
Of course, subsequent and current events show that secular claim to be totally invalid. And OBL himself met with Saddam's chem/bio chief in the mid 890's.

Gorelick looks like she shoots the same thing in her face as Nancy Pelosi. Overdosing on botulism toxin must effect one's brain.

Gorelick smirking and trying to score points.
Tenet: Let's put the cards on the table. Has relationship with SOD? Needs time to think about answers for changes.
To: JustPiper
She should not even been on the Commission with that smirking face! Chairman Kean was on CSPAN very early this morning and he defended having her on the panel as a person of 'experience' in the matter to be investigated.
What an idiot!
Yesterday the commission sat from 9am to after 5pm. Then Kean, and others, all granted media interviews. The man has to be very tired by now. This tells me that this entire public hearing is just a media show. It is definitely not FACTFINDING. I am sure that the "report" has already been mentally written.

Me too! I thought(along with AlQaida) "This has Iraq written all over it."
To: ex 98C MI Dude
The connections between OBL and Saddam go back over 10 years, were written about by the mainstream press during the 90's and acknowledged by former CIA director Woolsey and hundreds of others.
It is something the administration should discuss more often as it would bolster support for the war in Iraq. Why they do not discuss this matter more often is beyond me and it's a tactical mistake, imo.

See, they try to put it in the worst light possible.
But he and the others are STILL characterizing it as a WARNING that Bush saw and ignored, when, in fact, it was a document relating historical information COMPILED at Bush's request so he'd be up to date on what was actually occurring!
I hate them all!

Did you see the front page of today's NY Post? No, I had not seen that... thanks for the link! I love it, but you won't see that headline on The New York Slimes, LA Slimes, Daily News, Washington Compost, SF Chronicle, Hartford Courant, etc.
I can just see their reporters now, furiously trying to condense Tenet's statement about how he didn't meet with Bush in Aug 2001 "because he was in Texas" to an eye-catching headline for tomorrow...
