No, it was SANDY BERGER who didn't want Clarke in the meetings, which I found quite interesting.

Note to Mr. Roemer:
Q: From where does the leader of the Free World run things?
A: Anywhere he darn well wants.
To: texasbluebell
Exactly. There is alway some sitting in the Situation Room with an OPEN PHONE to him when he's gone. Always.

How many days was clinton out of the country flying around and entertaining himself? As well as taking his annual vacation....here, there, and anywhere he could find some else's home to spend it in.

COnsidering that two weeks prior to 9/11, Saddam's newspaper said that America would be hit where she hurt before (WTC) and that we'd never again sing "New York, New York" without crying, he at LEAST knew it was coming.
Also, he put his military on the highest alert they had been on since the Gulf War.

Well, I guess the 9-11 Commission ignored hundreds of FReeper e-mails... Jamie Gorelick still sits on this farce of a Commission.

Reno had been the democrats lackey. She has did everything that Clinton wanted and took the heat for it too and when it came down to it at the end when she wanted to run for office they ignored her. You are right - its a shame she is just now realizing it. Too little too late.

Remember yesterday, Cofer Black even said Clarke wasn't in those meetings and ended with "I don't know why George Tenet didn't want him in those meetings." (I think it was Tenet.)I'm pretty sure it wasn't Tenet, but Sandy Berger...making Clarke look even more pathetic. Not even the Clintonistas would give him any respect!

You're right. It was Sandy Berger; and that's during the time that Clarke indicated he was in every meeting within a 50 mile range of the president.

Gorelick up.
Gorelick: You are not a policy maker
Tenet: Yes, that's my belief
Gorelick: Yet when Dr. Rice was testifying to us during the "Summer of Threat" (can you BELIEVE this wench?) that the president was meeting with the CIA director...you have no jurisdiction over other agencies like FAA.
Tenet: I believe the data we provide informs actions others take.
To: Pukin Dog
Freeh said yesterday that Clarke wasn't in any of those meetings and "didn't know why Sandy Burger didn't want him there." LOL

The good thing about seeing BV, Gorelick and Roemer is realizing how transparent they are in their attempt to do harm to the President. Those who don't care about facts will be persuaded. Anyone who is listening carefully will want their heads.

I just can not believe these democrats!!! They don't care about anything but pinning this on Bush in anyway they can. National security be damn, they want a democrat back in the white house and NOTHING will get in their way!!!!

No. Wasn't it Sandy Berger who apparently didn't want Clarke in those meetings? Clarke would have been under Berger's supervision.
