April 14, 2004 -- Now there is no doubt that the Democratic attack dogs on the national 9/11 commission are embarked on a partisan mission: To defeat George W. Bush in November. They want this more than they want the United States to win the war on terror. Indeed, more than they want to deliver truth to Americans everywhere, but especially to the families of the 9/11 victims - who expect better, and certainly deserve it.

Good for the Post...A front page editorial lead-in and necessary to boot.
I wouldn't stop at the 9-11 commission....the DNC is steering this car aimed at the opinion polls and the constant anti-Bush carping has no basis other than to bring him down. The interests of the US be damned.
The Dems are sickening.

The Clintons and McAuliffe are steering; if they are reasonably successful in destroying Bush, Sen Kerry will certainly develop some illness or other reason to not be able to accept the demo nomination...Voila! guess who can THEN rescue the world?

1973: As special counsel to congressional dimocrats, his stated goal was "to drive Richard Nixon out of office".
1995: As special counsel to Senate dimocrats, his objective was to keep Clintoon the Liar IN office.
2004: As special counsel to 9/11 Commission dimocrats, his apparent objective is to drive G. W. Bush out of office.
Anyone detect a pattern?

Rice should have explained to Ben Veniste that that PDB warning would be the same as the lifelong notification that Ben Veniste would die someday as a direct and specific warning of a heart attack he were to suffer from in a week.
It is reprehensible to say the least. But this will all work out in the wash. I'm tellin' ya, Americans are intelligent people for the most part and see thru this. We only hear what the media wants us to hear and react to that. The number of people getting informed from decent programming grows daily. It's just that the sheer volume of sources for the terrorists and their abetors the libs, is greater. For newspapers that is.
Many, many Americans are starting to get outraged by this and it's as transparent as a sheer curtain.
