"...quagmire...."
Good Lord, do I love Bush.
This guy is trying to do the impossible and has taken the entire country, and maybe the world on his shoulders.
He is trying to give the Iraqi people the gift of Freedom.
He is trying to get the economy, not only going again from Klintoons abuse and excess, BUT NOT run it as a wartime economy (ala Roosevelt's rationing).
He is trying to hold the 'rational center' and talks softly, NOT in anger.
He is hopeful and earnest in the face of his enemies in the Press.
He speaks truthfully to us all.
God Bless George Bush!

We need to have a press bashing party someday. The guest list would be huge.

Asking about the aug. 6 PDB.
I asked for the briefing, part of it had to do with the G-8 conference I was to attend.

was that in reference to Iraqui troops? Yes.
Question on the August 6 PDG (that the press had known about since 2002).
He asked for the report and describes again the content.
To: Rooivalk
OK you are funny without trying. You are quite a talent in that way.
To: jackbill
Ass #6 - Shouldn't the 8/6 PDB have triggered something?
Answer #6 - I asked for the briefing because of a lot of intelligence suggesting attacks overseas.

<< Gregory really dislikes the President. >>
So, in other words, he's just like every other despicable weaselvulture in that room.

The comments about 911 and being on the offensive that he just made are what he should be saying all the time. It is the truth and it is understandable by all. A refference to our pacifisim durring the begining of WW2 would be good too. Most of the other stuff in his speech may be true, but it sounds like the same ole same ole, and that is how most of the American people hear it. He ganes nothing in that. I have always felt that he needs to pound it home that the enemy is gathering strength whenever we are not on a mission to seek and destroy them. He scored 100 points with that message.
