I'm incredibly proud of all the Bush Administration witnesses I have seen. Ashcroft is really clearing the bases with his testimony, IMO.

"He called it an "MOR" I think. Dont know what that's supposed to stand for..... "
I thought he said MON, but I don't know what that stands for either.

Ashcroft just stated, "Let the money do the talking." He then went on to detail how much money was spent on counter-terrorism as opposed to drug and gun crimes. CT was up over 1 billion.

And another thing (while I am on a rant!)...why is it that Clintoon was in office 2919 days compared to Bush being in office 233 days and Bush is taking the heat for the lapse in security!!!! EXCUSE ME???? You got that right. I keep pointing that out every chance I get.

I recall earlier information about X42's document to kill OLB but tht he kept it a secret. This is old news.

I LOVE how Ashcroft doesn't pussy-foot around with phrases like, "eight years before" and "earlier administration". He spits out "CLINTON" with nooooo problem. YES!! Condie was OK on the stand, but too darn civil. These people just don't understand civility; ya gotta hammer 'em and put it right out there. GO JOHN!!

I was referring to freeh's slip up that they were trying to hit us with suicide boats and "missiles" - as in flt. 800.
To: MeekOneGOP
Um, Mr. Ashcroft is from Missouri, thank you very much. He was our AG and later governor before being elected to the senate.

About the 'private' air craft------TAKE THAT widows!! They made such a big point of 'in-the-loop safety'.
Does BV think he's funny? Does the comment on J. Reno show his need to get in something diverting, after Ashcroft spoke about his flying commercial?

The term "catastrophe" does not even properly apply to 9/11.
Here is the definition:
>1 : the final event of the dramatic action especially of a tragedy
2 : a momentous tragic event ranging from extreme misfortune to utter overthrow or ruin
3 a : a violent and sudden change in a feature of the earth b : a violent usually destructive natural event (as a supernova)
4 : utter failure : FIASCO"
I do not consider 9/11 to fit any of the above. What happened on 9/11 was an ATTACK, an act of war. Of course, to dems, there is no such thing as an ATTACK---except when Republicans publicize a dem's voting record, of course.
