Barbara (L) and Jenna Bush, the daughters of U.S. President George W Bush, walk together from the Darnall Army Community Hospital in Fort Hood, Texas, April 11, 2004 after President Bush (news - web sites) and members of his family visited with soldiers wounded in Iraq (news - web sites). Bush awarded 10 purple hearts to troops recovering in the hospital, after attending an Easter Sunday Church service at a chapel within the army base in central Texas.

SECOND POST OF SAME:
Apparently, you gave little thought to the possible
consequences of posting your daughter's photo on a
public forum for all to see.
Perhaps sir, you should have first sought your daughter's
permission?
Have you ever heard of photo shop?
Amazing changes to an otherwise innocent
or decent photo can be made with ease using
photo shop.
It was unwise and quite irresponsible of you to post her photo.
I HOPE THIS HELPS.

I do think your daughter is very attractive. Her dress is tasteful, and modest, but it looks like she made it herself, or her mother made it. It reminds me of dresses my stepmother used to make back in the 70's. Maybe it's an old photo?
I have boys, not girls, and my own tastes tend toward more tailored styles, skirt-blouse-jacket, so I not one to judge.

They say laughter is the best medicine, and as bad as this last week has been for me, reading everyone's witty retorts has got tears running down my cheeks.

I cannot believe this thread. Honestly, I can't. Janet Jackson has nothing on these two evidently.
Sheesh.

"W seems to wear a Walmart straw cowboy hat, like all other Texans." The Bushes are some of the least pretentious people in the public eye, and that's another reason why I love 'em.

I can't believe this troll is still on this thread defending his views.
I've been doing other things for two hours and here he still is.
And the horrible thing is what he's doing to his daughter.
I'm a sorta good Christian woman and yet, in a tiny bad place in my heart, I find myself kinda hoping that his daughter finds gainful employment in a topless bar.
I know that's bad, but admit it, most of you feel that way too and it's all because of her troll of an ignorant father.

"You know of course that most chemical engineering majors dress like old ladies because they have no fashion sense whatsoever."
Yes, and I am glad you wrote most, since my daughter is very feminine and she likes feminine clothes. My wife has very good fashion sense and good taste in all things concerning clothes and the home, I suppose it is because she is from Europe, and she has passed on her good taste to my daughter.
She does not dress like an old lady and she does not dress like a slut. There is plenty of fashion room between these two extremes and she is somewhere in the middle.
Most female chemical engineers also do not wear make up and have short hair, since they are too busy trying to get their school work done to bother with make up and hair. My daughter wears a little make up and has long brown hair almost down to her waist.
She is quite the young lady and I am very proud of her. I only bring her up because some on this thread have claimed that all young women dress immodestly and that is not true as I know from my own experience. I think that her being home schooled and attending church regularly helped her to become the lovely young lady she has become. In her school there were guns and the bible. Other lessons might have been skipped while being home schooled, but bible study was never skipped. My wife did an excellent job raising her. I can't take a lot of credit for how she turned out, since I traveled a good deal as part of my job.

The only one I can think of would be the late not-lamented poster ChrisM, who went on and ON about nothing...and always defended Chelsea.
Which is why I think this might be ChrisM...a definite attempt to diss the Bush daughters.

I think people put on their best clothes for funerals, even when that means the colors are gay (by which I mean bright, happy). They think they can't afford to buy dark clothing just for a funeral, and don't use their imaginations.
I think even if you can't afford black or navy blue just for a funeral, because it won't look good on you all the time, you could buy something sombre that would always look nice on you, like a dark green or dark rust (which look awful on me, I am a "winter" so black and navy blue look good on me, and so does burgundy, which would also be fine for a funeral).
To: Miss Marple
Well, I think one of those pig snouts that the Redskin fans used to wear would be an acceptable alternative to the pig nose, but that's just me.
