i am very happy for you and your very beautiful and brilliant daughter. i would never post a picture of my daughter on a public forum, as i do not think it is appropriate. but suffice to say i am happy with her education, her academic success, her comportment and her appearance. as is her father, and both of her siblings. i guess you have one child? you must be so proud. : )

You are sending her to the wrong school, obviously.

You should have home schooled her when she was younger and then she would have your taste. Too bad for you because it is too late now. Your daughter has been caught up into peer group fashion and their taste and approval is more important to her than your taste and approval.

Hopefully, as some point she will return to her senses, but it sounds like you are in for a bumpy few years. Good luck to you and your daughter.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the way the Bush Twins were dressed. It is not my style, but who cares? The temperatures dropped unsually low for this time of year and the wind whipped up. My gosh, I'm surprised someone hasn't written about the way they wear their hair.

I don't see any pearls anywhere either. The world is going to hades in a handbasket.

My daughter was in community college getting all A's when she was fifteen.

And she never wore a dress that looked like it belonged on a bed.

That was uncalled for. Just because you don't like something does not mean your tastes are the right ones. Your daughter looks washed out in that dress you posted. She's a pretty girl but that color does not bring her out. Your daughter also looks older in that pic than a young college girl. She looks like she is at least in her mid to late 20's.

to the contrary, her school is one of the best in the area, with an excellent academic reputation. we do not fear for her future, so please, put your mind at ease. she lives her faith and has her own sense of fashion and is very comfortable with herself and not interested in being anyone else's clone. not even mine : )

i know it is very very hard for you to fathom, but some of us, are actually MORE fortunate than you are.... : )

Don't be silly. Panty hose are optional.

When I was a teenager my boyfriend attended a very strict, penecostal church. So strict in fact, some of the women wore panty hose under the bathing suits at the summer youth camp to appear "modest." It was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen, especially since coed swimming was taboo and the only people at the pool were other women. Don't ask me what the men wore, I don't want to know.

Sorry for getting sidetracked. This whole issue of whether or not to "panty hose" brought back this fond memory. :-)

Amazing changes to an otherwise innocent
or decent photo can be made with ease using
photo shop.
