Barbara (L) and Jenna Bush, the daughters of U.S. President George W Bush, walk together from the Darnall Army Community Hospital in Fort Hood, Texas, April 11, 2004 after President Bush (news - web sites) and members of his family visited with soldiers wounded in Iraq (news - web sites). Bush awarded 10 purple hearts to troops recovering in the hospital, after attending an Easter Sunday Church service at a chapel within the army base in central Texas.

HOn, try not to look at her rear as it apparently has you thinking bad thoughts about sluts and such. You are the one with the dirty mind here. And you know nothing about who or what is paying for their college. And your daughters are not the standard by which all young women are to be judged by. You are full of hubris. So there!

He may not even know what his own children wear when he is not around, My mother use to insist that my older sister wear dresses when left the house back when she was in High School during the 70's
She did .. but then she would change into the cloths that she threw out the bedroom window before leaving for school

Laura needs to work on their clothes.I heartily agree. I know I was raised under different standards, but my parents would NEVER have let me dress like that, not for Easter service attendance, not to visit GI's in the hospital, not for a costume party.

" I wish them and their parents nothing but the best."

"In my opinion, the first daughters dresses look fine."
Well, you are certainly welcome to your opinion, just as I am entitled to mine.
They could have selected a happy medium between jean jackets and spaghetti strapped dress and dresses for matronly old women, IMHO.
There is no reason to go to either extreme and they could have dressed in clothes that were in better taste.

I am reasonably sure that the wounded that they visited were not concerned with their fashion statement. I am reasonably sure that any conscious male would have been totally distracted by Jenna's fashion statement, transforming the attempted "good works" into a curvature awareness hour. My pastor has spoken from the pulpit repeatedly (always new members coming in who bring the world's standards with them) to ask / encourage / exhort the women to cover themselves up so the men can concentrate on worshiping the Lord. Men are going to have the same reaction whether in church or hospital. Women can control how they dress (duh). I hope somebody gets it into their puddin' heads that they are stumbling others.

My only request of daughters is that they try to keep their underpants on most of the time when out and about,,,you just can't go wrong if you keep the underpants on in my mind.

Happy birthday Howlin. What did you get for your birthday (am I too late in asking? Was it the letter from our President)?
