I heartily agree. I know I was raised under different standards, but my parents would NEVER have let me dress like that, not for Easter service attendance, not to visit GI's in the hospital, not for a costume party.
They are 21 years old. I think we should be glad to see that they are 1. at Easter services with their family and not running around on a beach in Florida, 2. Wearing dresses and not jeans, and they have no tattoos or body piercings, and 3. Went to visit wounded GI's.
Standards and tastes change over the years. This is actually quite conservative clothing from what I have seen of my daughter's friends. You should have seen some of the outfits that were worn to my daughter's large, formal, evening church wedding! We had everything from jeans to a strapless dress!
However, I was glad that my daughter had so many friends who wished her well. And I am glad that the Bush daughters are behaving like this. How many times did Chelsea visit wounded or ailing soldiers?
