Barbara (L) and Jenna Bush, the daughters of U.S. President George W Bush, walk together from the Darnall Army Community Hospital in Fort Hood, Texas, April 11, 2004 after President Bush (news - web sites) and members of his family visited with soldiers wounded in Iraq (news - web sites). Bush awarded 10 purple hearts to troops recovering in the hospital, after attending an Easter Sunday Church service at a chapel within the army base in central Texas.

I do hate thong unders and was shocked when I discovered, via one of my daughters, that thongs are made for men. I was astonished to see one in a store in Florida and said loudly, " are these for heterosexual men",,she had to shush me but everyone laughed. Seriously, do men , heterosexual men, wear thong underpants?

just shows how well brought up we were that despite suspecting trollishness we were all loathe to start ragging on the plain jane daughter and her washed out homemade 1970s looking dress and shoes that didn't match!! and the trollish one showed just how illbred he/she was.
LOL-LOL-LOL
Now that you mention it,
we really did act our "classy" selves ---
showed a lot of restraint in our comments
to our troll.
Damn, he/she was fun.
Maybe he/she will find a way back here soon.
They often do.
LOL!

Oh, sorry about that Chelsea pic.
Someone I really adore,
remarked to me this morning
that Chelsea looks like Webb Hubbell.
Ya think?

Or Sams Club. Or anywhere food is served. Blech.
Have you ever noticed the lines around the free sample displays at Sams or Costco? The x-try x-try large thong crowd congregates around those things. It is quite phenomenal to behold. And don't dare get in their way.
To: Xenalyte
How did you refrain from snapping it? I couldn't have. My wife would've kicked my arse. Or refrained from giving me any arse, which would've been worse!

In the building where I work, it's always the fat cows who get on the elevator on the first floor and take it all the way up to the second. Jimminy flipping Christmas. Thank God I'm so perfect myself . . .

It is quite phenomenal to behold. And don't dare get in their way. That annoys me to no end. The BIG family (usually 4 or more people who could stand to pass by the samples) congregate around the sample tables. If the sample-giver (?) hasn't yet portioned the food out...they wait..blocking the aisles. I have on more than one occasion been forced to "accidentally" jam my cart into that cart belonging to some poor "xtry" large soul who hasn't eaten in the last 5 minutes (at a previous sample table)..and dang, those carts can really hurt if they go into someones ankle.

Well, I must confess I'm not perfect. I laugh aloud at strangers in a store when the stranger's clothing does not meet my standards. Or when the guy in the next line goes to the store on Christmas Eve and purchases a mega-pack of black socks and a large bag of frozen broccoli. :)
To: Mrs.Liberty
Though tempted to run over the BIG family (as opposed to the populous family that we have--9 of us in all), I restrain myself, figuring the buggy won't win. :) I just wait patiently until they are out of the way. And watch. I really am amazed that folks will wait five minutes to get a sample of a tortilla chip with spinach dip on it. Or have a lil sausage smothered in barbecue sauce. Haven't we all sampled such??????????????????? My poor children are lucky to get to split one sample between all 7 of them! lol

Do NOT miss post #1206.
So I take it this thread veered into a Classy Green Eyed Fashionista incident? Hopefully nobody looked at the sun...
To: Diddle E. Squat
OMG! Thanks for the ping, that is just uncanny.
I've been busy and haven't been on this thread. I hope I didn't miss a CGEB moment!

I saw the thread yesterday, when it was much shorter, and they had just busted and banned someone for posting pictures of a gal he falsely claimed was his daughter. Maybe one of the participant can provide a better summary or the pertinent post #'s.
Cajungirl, what's the real story?
To: cajungirl; onyx
I've had that Hubbel/Chelsea photo saved for about a year now. I thought this would be the perfectomundo time to post it for all to see. LOL!

xsmommy did an excellent summary of the thread early this morning. Let me see if I can find it for you.
To: Diddle E. Squat; Constitution Day; xsmommy
Here's xs's summary:
"i don't know that it can be segmented in that way. it was sort of the entire flow of the thread that was hilarious. you had the Troll, Demetrius, expounding on how inappropriate the Bush twins attire was for church or visiting troops (i can guess your views on that one). Then we had Cajungirl give the definitive word on panties, wearing them or not- where/when/how (i think she has the makings of a bestseller if she could just pull them all together in her inimitable style). Xenalyte piped up with the hose with open-toed sandals rule, which was thoroughly dissected by women from various parts of the country. Throughout the troll would steadfastly trash the Bush twins attire as inappropriate. Miss Marple was sure that the troll was a retread of ChrisM (steadfast defender of the oh so hideous chelsea), and deport unmasked the troll as a fraud, based on the pic he posted of his supposed daughter. The mods, instead of just answering the query, was this ChrisM reincarnate, yanked the dang troll and disappointed everyone. that is about the best i can do to synopsize. everyone that was on the thread was a riot, though, and i thank them for their participation, it was a great thread.
