Barbara (L) and Jenna Bush, the daughters of U.S. President George W Bush, walk together from the Darnall Army Community Hospital in Fort Hood, Texas, April 11, 2004 after President Bush (news - web sites) and members of his family visited with soldiers wounded in Iraq (news - web sites). Bush awarded 10 purple hearts to troops recovering in the hospital, after attending an Easter Sunday Church service at a chapel within the army base in central Texas.

Your imaginary daughter is making out right now with a Rice engineer, doing things you can't imagine. And she has on low rider jeans. and her arms are showing! ROFL! That has to be the best thread wrap-up line I've heard in a long time!

Have you read all of my posts on this thread? I don't see any point in your post at 1,057 on which we disagree.

Hey, they are out there proving that the Bush's are not just Northeastern bluebloods...and, doing a fine job, I might add.

I'm not talking about the dress, I'm talking about the attitude.

Say what you say about Chelsea, she was always dressed and groomed immaculately, with a warm welcoming smile.

I have read almost all of them. My point is that A woman in church should not feel compelled to cover up all signs of her sexulaity. A bit of cleavage or a short skirt is not inappropriate for church.
To: Hildy
Well, given that neither of us has ever met the ladies in question face-to-face, you might could have a bit of an overactive imagination, is my guess. It's called "projection."
To: Hildy
I have seen photos of Chelsea which were less than flattering. The ones of her making out with her boyfriend, nipples erect and clearly visible beneath her clothing, come to mind.

A bit of cleavage or a short skirt is not inappropriate for church. Depends on the man and it depends on how seared or unseared his conscience is. The guys in my church would not have spoken up if they had no problem with what was being exposed. The pastor took in their requests, prayed, and felt the need to speak.
How is he going to answer to the Lord when his life and responsibilities are reviewed if he ignores these men's requests?

Your post was the last so I post to you athough you have made some good points that's not what I'm saying it's about. I've had the ability to read over 600 responses to this posted article of over 1k and have yet to find anything about the actual visits to the Troops, wounded Vets. It all about how these gals were dressed and back and forth stuff. The ones who have cleverly drawn other minds into a hole should be proud on this plane.More to say of course but it's not more important than was cleverly trumped earlier.

article of over 1k and have yet to find anything about the actual visits to the Troops, wounded Vets Per usual FR style, if the article had had info on that topic to support the title, I'm sure there would have been a whole lot more cotton woven into this thread on that subject.
It's too bad that Yahoo! didn't cough up some details.

"Say what you say about Chelsea, she was always dressed and groomed immaculately, with a warm welcoming smile." Pardon? I think you can go back over 1000 posts on this thread and find that I did not say one word about Chelsea. Did I throw a barb at Terayza Heinz Kerry? Absolutely. Did I find humor in a book that Jimmah Carter wrote with Amy doing the cartoonn pictures, sure.
BUT you chose to call the President's daughters "snootie" (sic). So I guess I'd say you've avoided the question, hildy.
To: noodler
I looked up demetrius on search tool and it led to howard (gag)dean website. Also chelsea "warm welcoming smile" another "ChrisM/Demetruis" troll? or just delusional.

Too bad she has to go to t.u. but I'd make an exception for her "t.u."?

Speaking for myself; I have never viewed or had any desire to look at porn. That does not mean I do not have strong sexual desires, because I do. What I find rather disturbing are some of the books and speakers out there that state or imply that sexual thoughts are sinful under all circumstances. One particular book was the subject of a men's Bible Study I attended,
Every Man's Battle. The author stated that a man sins when he looks at a woman and has any sort of sexual thought. This is error and unfortunately leads some men to think they have a problem with lust or sexual addictions when they are, in fact, "normal". It doesn't help that most of these speakers and authors engaged in sexual sins and pornography; and then try to imply that a lot of other men must have the same 'problems' just because they did.
I do not discount the apparent fact that there are a number of Christian men who do have sexual sin problems, but I do wonder if some of them came about because they were never told that having passing sexual thoughts is normal. It's the way God created men. Once a man begins to think that passing sexual thoughts are sinful, they may begin to think they are 'addicted' and then start a spiral into real sexual sin and pornography.
I think some of these 'counsellors and therapists' attempt to create a market where one does not really exist.
To: onyx; Hildy
Hildy, I'll give you the warm welcoming smile, on thispicture, but dressed appropriately????? LOL
To: connectthedots
It is entirely possible that an imperfect doctrine on the subject has led to the situation you describe, but a guy who is truly addicted knows the difference. It's slavery.
