Service and disservice (Ollie North slams Kennedy et al)

This past week in Iraq, U.S. Marines came under heavy fire in such cities as Fallujah and Ramadi. Amid gunfire and rocket-propelled grenade attacks, their mission was to search for the terrorists who killed and desecrated the bodies of four American contractors killed last week and quell an uprising of radical Shi'ites, who are being lead by Sheik Muqtada al-Sadr, a fanatical cleric and a pawn of Hezbollah. At least 15 Marines were killed and 20 more were wounded in the battles.

What we need now are some smart and able Freepers pullng out some of Ollie's testimony when he said that, "Bin Ladin was the most evil person he knows", and publicizing the democrats response to his testimony.

That would open a lot of eyes about the democrats.

That's a little extream, however, that Senator should on camera get right in his face and call him what he is a traitor. Let's not leave out the lieing old sack Klansman either.

The Marines have to stick together because Ted "Tet" Kennedy and his kind will tend to undermine their efforts. I'm happy to see Lt. North standing tall for his comrades.

Thank you, Elkiejg!

Those who continue carping and complaining about the war, defend themselves by saying they have a First Amendment right to do so, but there is an inherent duty of responsibility in the exercise of free speech. Now that terrorists are mastering the manipulation of the media, war critics must consider the consequences their criticisms may have on their countrymen who are fighting for freedom.

8 Petition for Military Families-for press release ~ "Because of the named infractions, we wish to go on record and let people like Senator Kerry, Senator Byrd, Senator Kennedy, and the media that promotes the anti-war agenda know that unlike during the Viet Nam War, this time the silent majority will not remain silent! We support our President and our military. Together, we abhor the treasonous voices of those who aid and abet our enemies." ~ 4/11/04 |  Armymarinemom

Love your tag line. Best one yet. Fear works - on lots of people. At work on Friday, I was approached by a friend who is an immigrant from Denmark. She had eyes as large as moon pies and was saying to me that it must be time that we were getting out of Iraq, citing the recent killings and hostage-takings. I asked her where she would personally be RIGHT NOW if the US had not gone after Hitler, if we had let him run his course. Wonder of wonders, she agreed with me and stopped talking fear. I guess it just had to get to a personal level with her.

It's very ironic that the real war heroes never beat there chest and proclaim themsleves war heroes.

Shades of the PT109 fiasco. Kerry certainly learned from the best. At least they didn't make a movie about Kerry's exploited "heroism".

"The murder of those four defense contractors was planned and phoned in to the Arab media beforehand...to instill fear and generate calls for retreat. Thus terrorists in Iraq...have now added a public relations component to their quiver. And their latest offensive...has apparently worked on people like Ted Kennedy and Bob Byrd."

I don't think it worked 'on' Byrd or any one named Kennedy, rather, I'd say it works 'with' them. Would really like to see a list of incoming telephone calls for the 24 hours prior to the ambush. My bet is that a number of people in DC/DNC knew in advance as well.

Today's bad guys know just as well as did yesterday's bad guys that there are helpful souls available to them within our own government and special interest groups.

Lisa, I'm sure out on the left coast, screen writers
are flailing away, trying to make a story line that will
work. (and have it ready before november.)

I was thinking the exact same thing. I'm trying to think of who they could find that is ugly enough to play the part of Kerry.

Too bad we can't hit these windbags with the provisions of the Sedition Act of 1918. Too bad we no longer have a modern day form that even held elected officials accountable.

I'd pay good money to see Ollie North, in the old school Paris Island '52 style DI, get in the faces of the Baghdad Brothers (McDermit and Levin) Ben&Jerry's Poster Boy (Teddy K), Sheets (Byrd), Charlie Rangle, and what was the floor name for Osama's MaMa?

Should we expect any differenet from Fat Teddy...I mean he is the one who said that the marines trying to take the infamous "Hamburger Hill" in Vietnam where
"Hopeless and had no chance of victory."

Kennedy has always been and always will be a fat, useless, bastard who exploits others to his utmost benifit.

I sent an e-mail to the DNC and one to my Dem. congresscritter Ike Skelton, with a subject line that read "You're killing our troops." Will let you know if I get a response.

While you're waiting, make some copies. Start sending them out to VFW, American Legion and AMVETS posts in his district. Send his office a courtesy copy with each one until you do hear from him.
