"CNN has moved on to other news.."
Bwahahaha! You know they're deeply disappointed. If there were anything there at all, they'd be harping on it for the rest of the evening.
The Dems need some time to figure out how to spin this against Bush and fax CNN their talking points.

Doesn't this make Gorelick a liar when she said the FBI was not investigating anything? Yes, it does.
In addition she is flat out quoted in today's Washington Post as saying it was Rice who mischaracterizes this memo as analytical.
FGS, Geraldo lamenting that Bush and Kerry can't just get along and acts like they're both behaving badly. sheesh

It is my understanding that the only person on that commission who has seen the actualy PDB is Jamie Gorelick and that SHE wrote the synopsis for the rest of them and that's what he is working on! That may be correct. Larger point is that the Dems are outflanked big time on this one. Ain't no amount of ice fix it.
Also, there is another thread about HR 4210, in '98. A bill to create some cross departmental cooperation. Bill failed and Clarke opposed it.

I hate when Fox pre-empts The Beltway Boys. This stuff is so old-news.

CNN sure ran away from the memo in a hurryThey'll be the first to sweep it under the carpet as well.

What the hell is Geraldo talking about ... He claims there's no difference between how Kerry or Bush would handle the WOT. He's never been more wrong.

I think Geraldo is losing it
Rita mentioning how Al-q has been traveling in the US for years and this should scare the hell out of us

he's been playing the "outside-the-beltway-honest-
broker" bit all day. and also the "as a war correspondent
that has been in combat with our soldiers . . . " line
of drivel.
he must think we forgot that the 3rd ID threw him out of
iraq for giving away their position on world-wide
television.

Which is how we know it's good for President Bush. If it was bad for him, CNN would be spelling out every word.

The President had seen previous intelligence reports about possible al-Qa'ida threats to U.S. targets outside the United States. The President had asked whether any of the information pointed to a possible attack inside the United States. How exactly did he think of that? Do they mean that perhaps he had insight that the entire Intelligence community lacked?
