BREAKING NEWS FROM GUETZLOENEWS.COM

(Orlando) Orange-Osceola Circuit Judge Theotis Bronson issued a ten (10) page ruling against Orlando Buddy Dyer and for Orlando Mayoral challenger Ken Mulvaney in the voter fraud case Mulvaney has filed against Dyer.

Regarding the charges of ballot tampering and fraud by the Dyer campaign as alleged in the Mulvaney complaint, Judge Bronson stated... "this Court finds that such allegations, at a minimum, are sufficient to place the result of the election in doubt."

In denying the Dyer motion to dismiss and the City of Orlando motion to dismiss, Judge Bronson ordered Dyer to answer the Mulvaney lawsuit within ten (10) days.

This order sets the stage for a much anticipated run-off election between Mr. Dyer and Mr. Mulvaney.

Mr. Mulvaney was represented by Fred O'Neal, who also represents Ax the Tax.

No political party affiliations were given in the article, so I assume, per liberal press standards, that Buddy Dyer is a Democrat... am I correct?

Correct.

Our Mayoral elections are "nonpartisan," which has been a bit of a joke. Dyer was given thousands of dollars by the State Democrat party and flat out ran a smear campaign against Mulvaney this year. He also used the same tactics when he first ran for Mayor and I believe State Prosecutor.

Buddy Dyer ran for (and lost) State Attorney General in 2002 against Republican Charlie Crist. Dyer ran a dirty campaign and Charlie gave as good as he got.
"One ad by the Dyer campaign, for example, ended with a punch: 'Charlie Crist: unqualified, unethical, incompetent. Are these really the qualities we want in our next attorney general?'"   ...   "He fired back with a commercial accusing Dyer of excluding mammograms from HMO coverage, making it easier for criminals to sue from prison and, while a state senator, helping out a client of his law firm with a bill. Here is a nice little write-up I found courtesy of Google:

"... This latest story of vote fraud follows that pattern exactly. But there are two aspects that add to the story's importance.

"First, there is the sheer scale. A single worker, Ezzie Thomas, after receiving substantial "consulting fees" from two candidates ($12,000 all together) witnessed 264 absentee ballots, and people working for him witnessed about one hundred more. A private investigator for another candidate collected evidence that Thomas did far more than witness some of the ballots, and in some cases filled them out after getting a voter's signature.

"Second, there is the location of this apparent vote fraud — Florida. Specifically, Orlando. Now let me ask two questions to show you why this story may have importance beyond Orlando."

Yes, Dyer is a Democrat but ...

this wasn't an article, it was a PRESS RELEASE from Mulvaney's attorney who also represents AX THE TAX, a local group headed by Doug Guetzloe who's a well-known conservative activist/political consultant/political gadfly in the Central Florida area.

Last year when Dyer was running against Republican Pete Barr, Guetzloe supported Dyer and was rewarded with a spot on Dyer's transistion committee. Since then Guetzloe has had a falling out with Dyer and supported Mulvaney in the March race (Dyer's second; when he ran last year it was to fill the time left in the term of Orlando Mayor Glenda Hood who had been appointed Secretary of State by Jeb Bush.)
