Error America

I was listening to Air America online today, and I noticed that the majority of the the "O'Franken Factor" is dedicated to playing clips of Rush, Hannity, ect...., and responding to them.
There is no message or philosophy as for them, just criticism of conservatives. Which is there right, but without any substance, makes their network flacid. I was looking forward to this network, because I've never heard a cognant liberal argument or philosophy that unifies all believers, and as to date, still waiting.

Don't hold your breath for any coherent liberal arguments from that gasbag radio station. Welcome to FR btw.

Democrats dont have principles, they have GOALS. One of them, the main one, is to defeat Republicans. Nothing much else "unifies" them, they are a loose coalition of fractious groups which dont even like each other, but are united in their fear and loathing of Republicans. Therefore, all you have to do to be a Democrat in good standing is to show opposition to a conservative or a Republican.
If today, the Republican party became pacifist, tommorrow, the Democrat party would become war-hawks.

For a while Stern used to play Oprah clips of Dr. Phil and make comments. Evidently Oprah has a legal team that carries some weight because Stern commented about getting something from a lawyer and the Dr. Phil clips stopped.

If today, the Republican party became pacifist, tommorrow, the Democrat party would become war-hawks.It takes a long time to become a warhawk. Sixty years ago, you would have seen hawkish Democrats. The Democrats have spent the last 40 years being pacifist. It won't happen overnight or tomorrow.

Franken has no career in the industry of politics without Rush.

That's the whole point. The Liberal RATs don't have any ideas, only ranting and lies. Since Franken's talent can't carry him through three hours a day, five days a week, all he can do is play someone else's clips and complain.

Hmmmm. Guess Franken changed the format. Last week he was trying to tell jokes and make parodies, but no on laughed.

You mean like Larry King playing videos of Clarke and Kerry after commercial breaks during his interview (attempted slam fest) of Karen Hughes?

Happened already -- the Vietnam War.
Remember that Ted's brother started the war. Johnson increased it. But when Nixon took office...the war was not the right thing to do so said the RATs.
So, if they start the war, it is good (a la Clinton era). If Bush goes to war, it is bad....even if the terrorists are trying to kill us first.

I beg to differ. I was laughing. It's better than cussing the radio :-)

I saw a show on Harry Truman this morning. He didn't sound like any modern democrat I know, especially when he broke a railroad strike by insisting Congress draft the strikers.

I was listening to Air American this morning... Why??????????????????????????????????????????
To: I still care
John F. Kennedy didn't sound like a modern day Democrat either. Matter of fact, JFK campaigned for President as a "Fighting Conservative".
