Kerry's veep choice may play a bigger part in what you are referring to. If it's Edwards, or Hitlery, they will both bring a certain draw to the ticket. Especially Edwards because I think that at least some Democrat males would think long and hard about voting for the Beestie.

I fear that you're correct. What with the Boston Globe and 4 local Boston news stations all very liberal grandstanders for Kerry, the great unwashed just aren't getting the whole truth on anything from tax relief to the war on terror.
There may be some good news, however! The congressional district in which I live, Barney Frank's, voted in favor of Mitt Romney last election, and if he stumps for Chuck Morse, who is running against Bawney, then we could be saying good-bye to another liberal congressman.

Doesn't surprise me in the least. Fox isn't so much conservative in programing as its portrayed by those that don't watch it.
The TV news business was just so one sided for so very long, that any outlet which allows both sides to speak is "conservative" in comparison.
I suspect thats at the heart of the Fox bashing by Al Franken and others. They just can't get over the fact that the news isn't determined by the likes of Walter Cronkite and the New York Times any more.

You think Kerry's "wishy-washy"?
Well, some days he is, some days he isn't.
LOL!

However, he warned against pulling out too early in Iraq. I agree. It took us years to revamp 2 countries after WWII, it will take at least as long. I'm sure we can trust Bush on this decision. He has always stood up and made the tough decisions. His team are real professionals; they can't even be compared to the goofy team clintoon had.

Is he a US citizen? If not, is his announced support considered to be from a "foreign leader"?

Its going to be a close election.
What I take from this article - Murdoch is making a better public case then most of the top Republican leadership, who are all hiding because they fear the media will not "like" them.
To: Thermalseeker
Probably not Taxechucetts either. Those folks up there have some weird voting habits.....
The dead come to life the first Tuesday of November, every other year, and vote a straight DemocRAT ticket.

It will take some real craftiness to beat the Democrats at their own game but a walk is possible for Bush.
Even more, I'm hoping for some big coattails. A significant increase in Congress will pave the way for Social Security Reform, more tax cuts and a REAL reduction in spending.

Not that FOM's original question was even on point considering Murdoch is not a member of any government...
Hey familyofman, crawl back under your slimey rock, comrade.

I couldn't remember - thanks for the answer. Could be one of the many reasons why he's moving the corporate HQ to NYC.

At least we have Fox News with us -- interesting development -- guess he doesn't think Kerry would make a good President either.

I think you are correct on many points. The media NEEDS a race at election time. And if they aren't getting one, then they will (and are) just manufacture one. We've seen a whole lot of media propping, just as you observed.
It will be interesting to see who Kerry chooses for veep.

Love Rupert.
I know he's right,
but we can't slack-off for even a nano second.
I want a landslide of RWR proportions.
