Marines bomb Fallujah mosque

US marines pressing an offensive in this Iraqi town west of Baghdad bombed a mosque in the center of the town Wednesday and killed up to 40 insurgents inside, a marine officer said.

The attack came from a jet aircraft at a high angle to minimize the impact, the officer said.

"We wanted to kill the people inside," said Lieutenant Colonel Brennan Byrne.

Well if they are from reuters or Al Jazero it will just be an encumbrance. :) OK I know it's not a good thing even if they do sympathize with the enemy.

Yes. *Interceptor* Armor for the infantry grunts, CVC vests for the drivers and vehicle crews.

The Military does not use the 7mm Mag. If they use the M-40 for over 1000 meters, they chamber it for 300 win. Mag. which out performs the 7mm by volumes at those yardages.

Last night there was what appeared to be an imbed reporting fro Iraq on Fox...he looked awful, like he had not slept in weeks. full face, curly short dark hair. I don't see cable that often & really don't know all the reporters
