U.S. Muslims seek Pentagon probe on Iraq photo
Soldier's sign says he killed boy's father, impregnated sister
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today called for a Pentagon investigation of a photograph circulating on the Internet that apparently shows an American soldier mocking an Iraqi child.
The photo sent to CAIR seems to be of an American soldier standing next to two Iraqi children who are giving the thumbs-up sign. One child holds a hand-lettered sign in English that reads: "Lcpl Boudreaux killed my Dad, th(en) he knocked up my sister!" ("Knocked up" is American slang for making someone pregnant out of wedlock.)

HOWEVER, if this photo is true then this soldier should be repremanded. This is mocking the population there, and we nead only positive messages. This soldier was rather tastless in his choice of humor. If the photos legit, a big if, I'd bet it's already happened, though likely not to CAIR's satisfaction, it's not a death penalty infraction.

An american muslim organization known to fund terrorists is now trying to raise arab hatred against American soldiers in Iraq. Hmm.... Treason anyone?

I think this agency needs to look into why the Muslims were hanging American body parts from wires. Or would that not be objective? That happened in Iraq, not CAIR's jurisdiction, double standards are tricky.

This sort of photo gets around a lot quicker in the American hating Islamic press (heck the American hating American press) than anything like the following

Good find! CAIR is also known to aid Hamas, so I think their agenda is fairly clear! What do you want to bet that the text on the sign has been PhotoShopped? And if it wasn't, does this really compare to flying planes into buildings, mutilating corpses, etc.? Freegards...

This whole thing is a non story. For all we know, the sign could have originally said "Thank you President Bush". Frankly, I don't give a rats rear-end what US Muslims or CAIR think about anything.

Not really arguing... just observing. IS there a council on American - Christian relations? Well, no, but then we are alledgedly a Christian country, i.e. Christians are the majority so there is no real need. I could start one but who cares?
American-Jewish relations?
I would hazard a guess that there a ton that would fall in this category. You may have to substitute "Israel" for "Jewish" but the purpose is the same. Also, there are museum's of tolerance, I think more than one, at least there is a very large one in Los Angeles. These too would fall in this category.
I could see a Council on Amercian-Aghani relations or a Council on American-Saudi relations but doesn't their name strike you as odd at all?
Not really ... but it does point me to want to watch such a group. Until the "Islams" start speaking out in unison against the 'fundamentalist' I cannot help but to group them all as one big large 'faith' that want's nothing less than what their Quran says, the elimination of all non Islam.

They clarify "knocked up" because it will tarnish the families honor to have a daughter that is pregnant out of wedlock, therefore may necessitate an honor killing to clear the family name...That would mean not only did "Lcpl Boudreaux" kill the head of the family he also disgraced the family name...
Clear...

Yeah, its a little out of bounds. I think a slap on the wrist will do though. He's risking his life there and he took a goofy picture for his freinds at home... its not a very big deal. The terrorists at CAIR are the ones who need to be "reprimanded"... with the electric chair preferably.
You fail to realize that if the photo is real then the soldier is working counter to the goals of America. We are not there to play perverted and depraved practical jokes on the very people we liberated.
Also, your hyperbole in calling for the death penalty for Americans who advocate their religion in public makes you appear irrational and unreasonable.

CAIR is a 5th column terrorist supporting organization run by a Islamist-supporter (Ibrahim Hooper) who has stated that his goal and desire is to have the USA as a Muslim country:
By Ibrahim Hooper: "I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic in the future"
By Abdurahman Alamoudi of the American Muslim Council:"I think if we are outside this country, we can say 'oh Allah, destroy America'. But once we are here, our mission in this country is to change it."
CAIR and AMC should be shut down, their principles arrested, all assets seized, and any members that are not American citizens should be deported.

Like the military investigated the Kerry charges on Viet Nam, we will investigate this charge. That is what you have to do.
I hope the first stage of the investigation is to see if the picture was "photo shopped." If so the investigation is done. But if not, the participants including who ever took the picture need to be interviewed.
And if some US personnel did this, they deserve what they get. They are making accomplishing the mission more difficult and maybe more dangerous. So enough about he is risking his life therefore he gets to make the situation worse. That does not fly.

The total lack of any insignia and writing on the uniform plus the cheese eating surrender monkey name and stick man physique leads me to believe this is some Agit-Prop from our erstwhile "friends" in Europe. The kids, unless in on the staged scene, probably don't know what the sign says if they're not english speakers...

You are clearly missing my point. IF there purpose is to affect some change in America, then why offer background on an American slang term? I would venture to say that every American citizen over age 18 knows what "knocked up" means. It's just a very telling sign that this press release was intended for eyes other than the American press.

"Americans who advocate their religion"
Funding and supporting Hizbollah and Hamas is "advocating your religion"?
You're right that if the soldier in fact wrote that sign, it worked counter to US goals and he should be reprimanded. However I am not inclined to listen to a group like CAIR, which frankly should not be allowed to operate in the US. They are not an innocent organization defending the rights of US muslims. They have outrageous links to terror, and they make excuses for terrorism.
