If you have to, set those clocks ahead or you might be late.

And, while you're changing clocks, check/replace batteries in smoke & CO detectors, as well as other electronic gizmos your rely on for health & safety...things like glucose meters if you're diabetic, etc...

It is such a pain to get up at 2am to change all my clock. It's insane. Why can't we have the time change at some more convienient time of day?

Good advise for the congressional rats when it's time to vote.

I'd prefer to, on Friday, to set the day to Saturday in the spring and set the day back to Saturday on Sunday in the fall.

I've never understood why people observe daylight savings time. Glad I live in Arizona where they decided years ago that the day begins when the sun comes up and ends when it goes down and changing your clock changes only your clock.

It is for me too, find the book, where is the book, oh heck, sometimes I just let it stay wrong. How long is that daylight savings time thing-y anyway!

Yep, me too. But, I need a cray computer to figure out the time the Laughlin casino restaurants serve, etc...as the hour difference really screws up my day.

I sometimes show up for a poker game either an hour early or an hour late; but I'm 75 now...and just lucky to get out the door in the morning with my dentures in -- much less my pants zipped up, and the right colored socks on. (Don't get old ..get even !!!)

Cheers to all.

I have been dreading tonight all week. I have been a single parent this week. My kids are a 6 month old black lab and a 5 month old lab mix.

I was supposed to work 7p-7a this week but I couldn't leave the pups crated for 13 hrs. My puppy tender is not going to come over to potty them in the middle of the night.

I traded shifts and was supposed to work 4 shifts of 3-1:30. Sunday was supposed to be my regular 1:1:30.
We had someone call in sick at work, so today it was 1-1:30.

After the girls have been crated and unpottied for the past 6 hrs they are going to be nuts. It will take a good 2 hrs for them to get the starch out of their systems.

I have been getting up about 90 minutes earlier than usual to get them out and walk some fatigue into them prior to work.

I was looking forward to a 4 hrs of sleep inbetween 2 twelve hour shifts like I would look forward to a heart attack. Fortunately, I have been able to wheel and deal myself into coming in at 3p tomorrow. Problem solvey, solvey.

Go to any Fast-Oil-Change type place.

Give one of the employees $5.00 bucks for his/her lunch--I'm sure they'll be glad to do it for you and show you how to do it yourself for next fall.

Remember to have him/her write the instructions down for you, and keep it in your glove compartment.

Those fast-oil-change places are the closest it gets nowadays to the old always-helpful Full Service Stations.
