I saw a quick clip today while at work from one of the general's who is a consultant for Fox who said it is going to happen in 24-48 hours.

I wish we had surrounded them immediately so we could be sure none escaped. But, now hoping they really make them sorry, very sorry so the next bunch will think twice before doing anything remotely close to that act of barbarism.

Following is a list of SYMPTOMS ONLY for possible bio-terrorism related illnesses. It is posted solely for the purpose of showing that many symptoms are very similar to symptoms of other bio-agents. Many symptoms mimic the common flu (which, of course, means assuming you have the flu could be critical to your survival.) If you have these symptoms, please take appropriate care of yourself or your loved ones:

ANTHRAX:

Inhalation (breathing) - similar to common cold, may mimic flu-like symptoms. Several hours to days later severe breathing problems and shock.

Cutaneous (skin) - Raised itchy bump resembling insect bite, developing into sore and then painless ulcer with black (dead) center. Swollen lymph glands possible.

Intestinal (eating) - Nausea, loss of appetite, vomiting, and fever with abdominal pain, vomiting of blood and severe diarrhea.

ARSENIC

headache, confusion and drowsiness. Later convulsions and changes in fingernail pigmentation may occur. Acute symptoms may include diarrhea, vomiting, blood in urine, cramping muscles, hair loss, stomach pain and more convulsions.

AVIAN INFLUENZA (FLU)

fever, cough, sore throat and muscle aches, possible eye infections, pneumonia, acute respiratory distress, viral pneumonia.

BOTULISM

double vision, blurred vision, drooping eyelids, slurred speech, difficulty swallowing, sore throat, dry mouth and muscle weakness

EBOLA VIRUS (MARBURG VIRUS)

sudden onset of fever, fatigue, abdominal pain, muscle aches and headache followed by sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea and rash, possible chest pain, progressing until very ill due to severe bleeding.

E-COLI

sudden onset of abdominal pain and severe cramps followed within 24 hours by diarrhea, progressing to watery diarrhea, possibly becoming bloody to the naked eye. Vomiting may then occur, there is usually no fever.

HANTA VIRUS

abrupt fever, chills, muscle aches, headache, nausea, vomiting and malaise.

HEPATITIS A

abrupt onset fever, stomach pain, loss of appetite, headache, fatigue and vomiting. Urine may turn dark golden-brown in color, followed several days later by pale colored stools and yellowish discoloration (Jaundice) of mucous membranes, skin and whites of eyes.

LEGIONNAIRES' DISEASE

fever, chills and a cough that may or may not produce sputum. Abdominal pain, diarrhea and confusion.

MENINGOCOCCAL DISEASE

high fever, headache and stiff neck. Also nausea, vomiting, discomfort looking into bright lights, confusion and sleepiness (possible seizures)

PLAGUE

fever, weakness and rapidly developing pneumonia with shortness of breath, chest pain, cough and sometimes bloody or watery sputum. Nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain may also occur.

RICIN

Inhalation (breathing) - respiratory distress (difficulty breathing), fever, cough, nausea, and tightness in chest. Heavy sweating may follow as well as fluid building up in the lungs (pulmonary edema), skin may turn blue. Finally low blood pressure and respiratory failure leading to death.

Ingestion (eating) - vomiting and diarrhea that may become bloody, severe dehydration may result, followed by low blood pressure, Also possible hallucinations, seizures and blood in urine

SMALLPOX

malaise, fever, pharyngitis, rigors, vomiting, headache, backache and possible delirium. 2/3 days later small red spots on tongue and in mouth followed by development of rash, beginning on face and spreading to arms and legs then to hands and feet. By 3rd day rash becomes raised bumps, becoming pustular and firm, like small round objects under the skin. In 2nd week pustules form scabs with depressed, depigmented scabs, virus can be recovered from scabs throughout convalescence.

TUBERCULOSIS

primary stage may be symptom-free or possible flu-like illness. Secondary stage slight fever, night sweats, weight loss, fatigue and various other symptoms. Lung associated with dry cough eventually leading to productive cough with blood-stained sputum. May be chest pain and shortness of breath.

TULAREMIA

sudden fever, chills, headaches, diarrhea, muscle aches, joint pain, dry cough, progressive weakness, can also catch pneumonia and develop chest pain, bloody sputum and trouble breathing.

VIRAL GASTROENTERITIS (AKA ROTAVIRUS AND NORWALK VIRUS)

abdominal pain, abdominal cramping, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting. Additional symptoms include weight loss, vomiting blood, excessive sweating, clammy skin, muscle pain, joint stiffness, incontinence

I just heard a report on ABC radio news that experts are predicting a 6.5 or LARGER earthquake in California over the next 5 months.

I believe it was from a gov't source, which is surprising.

This seems significant in light of the postings regarding the transit of venus, The Victoria earthquake story, and all the activity at Yellowstone.

I'll keep my eye open for a print story on this.

We who live within a few miles of the San Andreas Fault are well aware of that article. The writer has had a very significant series of accurate quake predictions. I'm hoping he is wrong this time.

Not sure how I got on Mitch Battros ECTV email list, but this was part of his Breaking News email from 3/31/04:

Four New Earthquakes

Sure, call me hyper-vigilant, but I can’t help but notice the recent trend of earthquakes due to their location and size. The latest three which occurred yesterday, seem to fit a pattern which has caught my attention from the beginning of my research into the Feb. 6th Wyoming quake the USGS first denied, then defined as a “mine-blast”. Now when I see similar ‘type’ quakes I can’t help but think they are not quakes at all, but ‘seismic events’ perhaps caused by underground tunneling, or underground testing. On this issue, the facts are hard to come by, so I am forced to write in the form of conjecture, and just a good old “hunch”.

One of the four latest earthquakes is located in Colorado near the New Mexico boarder. Not a state that sees many. It measured as a 3.5 mag. There has been high speculation that underground facilities have been under construction for some years, as well as in New Mexico. Which brings me to the location of two more quakes. These two were just on the New Mexico side of the boarder with Colorado. One measured 3.0 mag., and the second was 3.1 mag.

What has me scratching my head is the fact that most “mine-blast” or “mine-collapse” measure as 2.5 to 3.5 magnitude seismic reading. This was discovered during my Wyoming/USGS investigation. Okay, I’ll own this one; sure it is possible I am seeing these latest events through the eyes of an untrusting investigator. Maybe I’m now cursed with seeing all unusual located earthquakes which measure 2.5 to 3.5 mag. as more than just a natural occurrence. So as each of you ventures into your own personal investigations, you may wish to keep this in mind when you see reports coming from this writer. (At least for now)

The fourth quake was located approximately 100 miles west of Yellowstone measuring a 3.1 magnitude. Again, you may wish to count this as just another fixation from Mitch, but something just doesn’t feel right. I think I will just leave it at that!

Three letter bombs intercepted in Spain

Madrid - Three letter bombs addressed to Spanish media organisations were intercepted in Spain on Thursday, three weeks after 191 people were killed in suspected al-Qaeda train bombings.

Police explosives experts defused two of the letter bombs and blew up a third after they were detected by a scanner at a mail distribution centre in the northern city of Zaragoza, the Interior Ministry said.

The discovery of the bombs came at a time when Spaniards' nerves remain on edge following the March 11 bombings of four Madrid commuter trains - the first attack in the West linked to Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda network since the September 11, 2001 strikes on New York and Washington.

An Interior Ministry source said authorities did not know who was responsible for the letter bombs, which were addressed to executives at newspaper La Razon, radio station COPE and broadcaster Antena 3.

Armed Basque separatist group ETA has sent letter bombs in the past while anarchist groups have been blamed for others.

The government initially blamed ETA for the March 11 train bombings before evidence grew that militant Islamists were responsible.

The Interior Ministry described the letter bombs as rudimentary devices, each containing about 60g of explosives.

The explosives were packed in video storage cases inside a bubble-wrap envelope. They carried a false sender's address in Spain, the ministry said in a statement.

Two parcel bombs were intercepted and defused in Italy on Thursday. They were addressed to senior officials of Italy's prison system, one of them a former anti-Mafia investigator.

Police said they suspected the Italian parcel bombs were the work of anarchists because the return address on one was a fictitious street using the name of a well-known anarchist.

Anarchists are believed to have been behind a spate of parcel bombs in Italy in the past three months. Bombs have been sent to European Union officials, including European Commission President Romano Prodi.

April 20th, is the anniversary of Columbine, Colorado school massacre.

April 20th, is also Hitlers birthday.

I am not seeing April this year in pastels, but rather it is red and hot.

I am sure there are other holidays, but for some reason, I am doing this year without a calendar, so may not know them, the above are the dates that keep rolling around in my mind.

Please God, let my thoughts on this be wrong.
