US Promises to Punish Those Responsible for Gruesome Iraq Attacks

The top U.S. official in Iraq says Wednesday's gruesome attacks on four American civilians whose burned bodies were put on display in the town of Fallujah will not go unpunished.

"It's going to be deliberate, it will be precise and it will be overwhelming," U.S. General Mark Kimmitt said, speaking to reporters in Baghdad. He warned insurgents in the town of Fallujah to be prepared for U.S. forces to strike back following Wednesday's killing of four American contractors by a frenzied mob that dragged their charred bodies through the streets.

Televised footage of the act has provoked outrage from Americans in the United States and led U.S. administrator in Baghdad Paul Bremer to issue a warning.

"Their deaths will not go unpunished," he promised.

The White House blamed the attacks on supporters of Saddam Hussein. The remains of the four were to be turned over to the U.S. military.

A day after the attack, three American soldiers were injured in another attack near Fallujah, this time when their Humvee struck a roadside bomb.

Good morning jerseygirl, everyone,

Still catching up from where I left off yesterday but I had to post this while I was thinking (so many times I stop thinking LOL)

I can't rememeber where I found the below article but I'm sure I pulled off of FR somewhere...

>> This IS war,(it was declared on us back in 98 <<

AMERICA's war on terrorism did not begin in September 2001. It began in November 1979.

That was shortly after Ayatollah Khomeini had seized power in Iran, riding the slogan "Death to America" - and sure enough, the attacks on Americans soon began. In November 1979, a militant Islamic mob took over the U.S. embassy in Tehran, the Iranian capital, and held 52 Americans hostage for the next 444 days.

The rescue team sent to free those hostages in April 1980 suffered eight fatalities, making them the first of militant Islam's many American casualties.

Others included:
April 1983: 17 dead at the U.S. embassy in Beirut.
October 1983: 241 dead at the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut.
December 1983: five dead at the U.S. embassy in Kuwait.
January 1984: the president of the American University of Beirut killed.
April 1984: 18 dead near a U.S. airbase in Spain.
September 1984: 16 dead at the U.S. embassy in Beirut (again).
December 1984: Two dead on a plane hijacked to Tehran.
June 1985: One dead on a plane hijacked to Beirut.

After a let-up, the attacks then restarted: Five and 19 dead in Saudi Arabia in 1995 and 1996, 224 dead at the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in August 1998 and 17 dead on the USS Cole in Yemen in October 2000.

Simultaneously, the murderous assault of militant Islam also took place on U.S. soil:
July 1980: an Iranian dissident killed in the Washington, D.C. area.
August 1983: a leader of the Ahmadiyya sect of Islam killed in Canton, Mich.
August 1984: three Indians killed in a suburb of Tacoma, Wash.
September 1986: a doctor killed in Augusta, Ga.
January 1990: an Egyptian freethinker killed in Tucson, Ariz.
November 1990: a Jewish leader killed in New York.
February 1991: an Egyptian Islamist killed in New York.
January 1993: two CIA staff killed outside agency headquarters in Langley, Va.
February 1993: Six people killed at the World Trade Center.
March 1994: an Orthodox Jewish boy killed on the Brooklyn Bridge.
February 1997: a Danish tourist killed on the Empire State building.
October 1999: 217 passengers killed on an EgyptAir flight near New York City.
In all, 800 persons lost their lives in the course of attacks by militant Islam on Americans before September 2001 - more than killed by any other enemy since the Vietnam War. (Further, this listing does not include the dozens more Americans in Israel killed by militant Islamic terrorists.)

And yet, these murders hardly registered. Only with the events of 9/11/01 did Americans finally realize that "Death to America" truly is the battle cry of this era's most dangerous foe, militant Islam.

...charged with a bias crime...

Now you talk about scary, that is scary . . . how long before all of us who ever posted on FR are hauled down to the station on suspicion of "bias crimes" or of frequenting a web site on which bias criminals are known to congregate!

My brothers, cousins, friends and I did the same thing with the mosquito trucks back in the 70's. There was also a specific sound that the sprayer truck made, and once we heard that sound, our bikes were in motion. I thought that we were the only knuckleheads that did this stunt. Thankfully, so far we are all healthy.

Medical helicopter crashes, killing one

Associated Press
April 21, 2004

A medical helicopter crashed while taking a patient to a hospital in Evansville, killing one person, a police dispatcher said.

Warrick County Sheriff's dispatcher Jenny Claridd said the helicopter was flying from St. Joseph Hospital in Huntingburg to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville when it crashed north of Boonville about midnight Tuesday.

Three crewmembers and one patient were on board, and the patient was killed, Claridd said.

Indiana State Police remained on the scene this morning. Investigators have not yet determined what caused the crash.

There just was a man on Fox talking about a website where you can sign up for "highway watch" this summer. I can't get through because everyone seems to have jumped on that and I have to go to work. Someone should check it out.

Yesterday I searched Google for:

jihad tourism

jihad tourism in America and European Countries

Both are worth looking at again, many of the sites I can't visit with this old computer.

An excellent history site that needs more digging in is the "Search engine at:

http://www.lii.org

I did 'terrorist', 'terrorism' and 'threats'.

What do you make of this GIM message? I read it, but I may have to re-read after a second cup of coffee. Thanks for posting the link.

It looks familiar, it may just be some recycled ranting.

It's an excerpt from "The Destruction of America".

That's the book with the morphing cover. It started out solid red, then a few weeks later it had the WTC, a honeycomb background, and nukes exploding; then a month later it had the WTC and an eye and a second version the same day had the WTC and flag draped coffins.

>> you will see Muslims being shot on site by some if a big attack comes <<

It happened after 911. We suffer 10,000+ dead and it will happen again even worse. I don't want to see innocent people die no matter what race, religion, or nationality. I couldn't kill in cold blood but there are those who can, do, and will.

While I’ve got no problems using deadly force to protect myself, my home, my family and friends; going out and killing someone just because of the way they look is wrong. Doing that makes us no better than the people we are fighting. I’ve said before that sometimes to beat your enemy you have to become as ruthless as your enemy. I really hope it doesn’t come down to that, but it might.

I think we all realize things are going to get a worse before they get any better.

"...the writer explained that their work in the United States is "successfully crimping the efforts of the FBI to monitor us and strip us of our remaining civil liberties."
The writer said that every Muslim has the duty to "be suspicious" and consequently force U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft to "waste valuable time and resources looking down yet another useless trail."

""The writer advised Muslims during the upcoming summer to "visit famous bridges and national monuments, bring along almanacs wherever you travel, and be sure to plan travel routes to pass near to nuclear power plants and any other critical facilities.

You and your kids will get both an education in America AND a fun time traveling while the goons of Ashcroft and Ridge waste their time monitoring you."

"It is also a good idea, the writer continued, for Muslims to use words like "bomb" in their e-mails and telephone calls.

"He concluded, "The more the merrier. This is jihad, and it shows that Muslims and Muslimahs need not be faceless victims of discrimination, but can indeed strike back against Dajjal Bush and his minions in a meaningful and perfectly lawful way."

"Quoting from an Associated Press (AP) story the writer on Secure Islam said that efforts of some Muslims toward this end are already working."

These aren't friendly Muslims. Where are the non-terrorist Muslims? Show me even one who, by their actions, stands up for the USA.

Filing false reports is a prosecutable offense. I hope any foreign Muslim tourists that engage in filing false reports are given an extended Caribbean vacation with their fellow militant buddies.

'MAN FOUND BURNED AND BEHEADED NEAR GILMER [EAST TEXAS]

Damn. Find the source, post as a regular thread, sounds like islami mutilations in Spain, Russia and Kashmir.

Perhaps not, but be good to put his out as its own thread.

Ping us if you do please.

East Texas, no less, where rumors and uncorroborated reports of jihadi activities may mean something going on.

Hi All,

I am new here to you all, but I have been following TM since its inception.

I read a post here about firemans uniforms being stolen and it set off alarm bells for me. I read a book a few years ago by Robin Cook. It was fiction, however, fiction seems to be the rule these days. It was based on a Russian premise. That fireman go into buildings to do inspections. While in there, they plant anthrax in the ventilation systems. The book was called Vector 6.
You are all doing a great job here. Keep up the good work.

Here's an update on that story:

3 Charged in Texas Slaying, Dismemberment

Associated Press

GILMER, Texas - Three men killed another man over alleged drug sales, then dismembered the body to prevent the victim from being identified, authorities said.

The three suspects were hiding in the woods when a rancher found the intact body of Joe Carroll Nickelbur Jr. on Monday, said Upshur County Sheriff Anthony Betterton. When the rancher left to call authorities, the three suspects moved the body, cut off the head and set the body on fire, he said.

The body was identified by Nickelbur's numerous tattoos. The rancher saw a vehicle at the scene that officers traced to the mother of one suspect's girlfriend, the sheriff said.
Witness statements in an arrest affidavit said the three suspects beat Nickelbur to death after confronting him about "giving bad drugs to their girlfriends."

Gregory Scott Narramore, 33; his brother, Jeremy Jay Narramore, 29, and Jason Fredrick Baughman, 24, were charged with murder. They remained in custody Wednesday on $1 million bail.

Two of the men confessed, sheriff's Lt. Wayne Young said, but he would not say which ones. Baughman's attorney, Robert Bennett, said he did not know what his client had told authorities.

"While certainly the crime was horrendous, I think my client's part in it will prove to be less egregious than the circumstances may suggest," Bennett said. The Narramores' court-appointed attorneys did not immediately return calls seeking comment Wednesday.
