US Promises to Punish Those Responsible for Gruesome Iraq Attacks
The top U.S. official in Iraq says Wednesday's gruesome attacks on four American civilians whose burned bodies were put on display in the town of Fallujah will not go unpunished.
"It's going to be deliberate, it will be precise and it will be overwhelming," U.S. General Mark Kimmitt said, speaking to reporters in Baghdad. He warned insurgents in the town of Fallujah to be prepared for U.S. forces to strike back following Wednesday's killing of four American contractors by a frenzied mob that dragged their charred bodies through the streets.
Televised footage of the act has provoked outrage from Americans in the United States and led U.S. administrator in Baghdad Paul Bremer to issue a warning.
"Their deaths will not go unpunished," he promised.
The White House blamed the attacks on supporters of Saddam Hussein. The remains of the four were to be turned over to the U.S. military.
A day after the attack, three American soldiers were injured in another attack near Fallujah, this time when their Humvee struck a roadside bomb.

HF E-mail (Email by shortwave, using a car battery and Laptop computer, much of the info was past my knowledge, but the links and info was of interest).

Many interesting links from the search.
Also searched google for:

Old pictures at:

Both Google searches worth doing again.

BANANA BUNCHY-TOP DISEASE - USA (HAWAII)
http://starbulletin.com/2004/04/17/news/story9.html Banana disease confirmed on eastern Big Isle
Agriculture officials are examining the extent of the bunchy-top virus
Banana bunchy-top virus (BBTV) has been confirmed for the 1st time on the
Big Island's east side, the state's main banana-producing region.
The state Department of Agriculture is checking banana plants at Keaau
Banana Plantation, one of the state's largest banana growers, and at
surrounding banana farms to determine the extent of the disease, said Kyle
Onuma, of the department's Hilo office.
Richard Ha, president of Keaau Banana Plantation, believes that about 35
acres of Williams bananas on his 200-acre plantation might have the
disease. Ha will meet with Agriculture Department and University of Hawaii
experts on how to cope with the disease next week. "I think we can deal
with it," he said.
Since 1999 more than 175 000 banana plants have been eradicated in North
Kona after BBTV was discovered there. The virus also is present on Kauai
from Hanalei to Lawai; on Maui in Pukalani and Makawao; and is widespread
on Oahu.
BBTV is a member of the genus Nanovirus, not the genus Nanavirus named
earlier.

Note, it can be used as a ship to air or ship to ground missile as well as air to air.
AIM-7 SPARROW MISSILE
Air War College converted text/photo from Nov 1996 Defense Image Digest CD-ROM
SERVICES: Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy
DESCRIPTION: A highly maneuverable air-to-air missile with surface-to-air capability.
FEATURES:
The AIM 7 Sparrow and RIM-7M Sea Sparrow are radar-guided, air-to-air missiles with high explosive warheads. It has a cylindrical body with four wings at mid-body and four tail fins. The Navy uses the Sea Sparrow version aboard ships as a surface-to-air anti-missile defense. The versatile Sparrow has all-weather, all-altitude operational capability and can attack high performance aircraft and missiles from any direction. It is widely deployed by U.S. and NATO forces, and the Sea Sparrow is found aboard many U. S. and NATO surface warships.
BACKGROUND:
Originally developed by Sperry and the U. S. Navy, Sparrow's later versions were developed and produced by Raytheon Co. and General Dynamics. Subsequent versions were dubbed the "dog-fight modification" because its increased maneuverability at short range made it better suited for close-in visual engagements. The AIM/RIM-7M, the only current operational version, entered service in 1982. It boasts improved low altitude performance and a significantly more lethal warhead. In the Persian Gulf war, the radar-guided AIM-7 Sparrow proved to be the most potent air-to-air weapon used by Air Force fighter pilots.

Always keep in mind that Savannah is a MAJOR port, much larger than most people realize. In fact, I believe the port at Savannah was listed one or two threads back as a possible entrance port for terrorists, ala the modified cargo containers. And conveniently close to the Savanna River noocular materials processing facility...

OPINION: This is familiar because:
1. A number of those pictures/graphics showed up on hardcore jihadi sites from time to time.
2. If you check Haganah Internet at
http://internet-haganah.us/haganah/ you should look immediately to the upper right hand side. Read the message and view the graphic.
3. Ham radios operators are world-wide. Good guys and bad guys use this.
4. Jihadis (as well as good guys) like to make photos/graphics clickable which in turn leads to text message and/or points to another site.
5. There was a certain site that when you clicked on pictures it took you to a bunch of words. Apparently it is some type of art project on the 'net.
Hope this answers your question.

Unfortunately, saving "us" is not the 1st priority of government; it is saving "the country/government"...at any price. That is probably the biggest secret that no one wants us to know or figure out. We have to save ourselves and those around us. No one else is going to do it.

How is your mom going to deal with no food or drink prior to an afternoon surgery - that's going to be very tough on her and she's already weak. Again, my prayers for her strength to get through this.
