"Damit. My youngest son just came in earlier this evening and announced he is enlisting. My middle son finished his Marine hitch and now I have another on the way.

My middle kid chose the Marines which was not a real surprise, he is also a bull rider, Michael chooses the Army which is no surprise since he lives and breaths computers and they dazzled him with the technology he could train on..

Well I told him it was his decision and that I supported him. He is a levelheaded kid and he thinks things through. He has been considering this for over a year now. He goes for his physical next Monday.

I've not followed him, at all. I haven't even responded to him ever since he attacked me, until this.

I do it because HE started something out of the blue with me, a real nasty attack. So, I give some back. Boo hoo to you, and him.

Also, if you'd read the thread I posted, you'd see others hoping that when he's down, he gets kicked around. He's known for doing this.

Wow. Thanks for the thread and prayers. I will save it for Michael. As I said last night he still has to pass the physical but he is even more gung ho today than he was last night. Thanks agan.

Heavenly Father, watch over Texasforever's son as he serves our nation. Grant him courage to perform his duties bravely, grant him presence of mind to perform them well, and grant him wisdom that he may choose the honorable path, both on and off duty.

He has not yet made up his mind and put his "John Hancock" on the paperwork.

He graduates in a few weeks and I suspect he wants to party a bit.

The recruiters are trying like heck to get him to commit.

I want him to be real comfortable and motivated about his decision so I have decided to watch and wait.

Looks like Air force or Army though.

This is a great opportunity to say some words for ALL the kids who take upon themselves this tremendous responsibility and sacrifice.

We are so fortunate as a country to have these young people and we are so proud of them.

May God watch over them and keep them safe!
