Today, La Quric is wearing a tasteful aquamarine blouse, and the 55-gallon drum of makeup in Wardrobe has restored some of her former youthful glory.
Katie and former drug czar Barry McCaffrey* were doing the Blood Dance of the Press Sinister over the pair of current Sunni attacks in Iraq. Apparently, McCaffrey has his finger close to the pulse of Sunni/Ba'athist nationalism, for he was able to "report" authoritatively about Sunni feelings in the area of the attacks. Or he just made it up.
It's not just isolated attacks, it's an "insurgency", Barry declares. At least NBS has the decency to stay away from the term "freedom fighters", unlike CNN-BS.
There was going to be a segment with a pair of "9/11 families" on the Evil Condi Rice, but I was unable to monitor the charade.

Did anybody catch which of the phony 9/11 "victim families" al-Katie had on this morning?
*General Barry McCaffrey, who taught with [ Wesley] Clark at West Point called him a "national treasure," and "one of the top five most talented people I've met in my life."

Maybe it's just me, but I am sick and tired of hearing about the 9/11 "victims families". I wasn't around at the time, but was the aftermath of Pearl Harbor all about the "victims families"? Somehow I doubt it.

On Dayside yesterday, Gary Sinise (Lieutenant Dan in
Forrest Gump)
told Linda Vester that the relentless negativity of the Sinister* Press was hurting the morale of the American troops, who know that they are doing the right thing in Iraq.

I did catch the segment, including the interview with the 9/11 family members. There were two. One, Kristen Breitweiser, seems to have become a professional media Bush-basher. She's the one who earlier stated that "Three thousand people were murdered on President Bush's watch."
The other guest was someone who signed a recent letter SUPPORTING W's leadership post 9/11. He mentioned that he had never voted for a Republican before but is now backing W.
Breitweiser came armed with a book full of post-it notes supposedly demonstrating that there was lots of info available prior to 9/11 about the possibility that a plane would be used as a weapon of terror. And she said that her husband's life and those of others in the WTC could have been saved if the Bush admin had released the info they had about the danger of Al-Qaida attacks. People would immediately have evacuated the towers if they had known, she claims.

It's the same old, same old.
On Monday, ABS radio trotted out professional 9/11 "victim" Kristen Breitweiser and did a Clarke* with her.
*To do a Clarke: to give a speaker with hidden agendas and motivations an unchallenged soapbox from which to spread lies and half-truths.

I'm going do a post on the DNC's horrible new victim class - the 9/11 "victim family" and the wounded/killed Iraq soldier's "victim family", which are a very small group indeed, thank God.
Breitweiser is in it for the money, the notoriety or the political power. I want to see her return the money given to her by the American people, and let her sue the government for "knowing" about 9/11.
I believe that one of the reasons they want a Clarke-like "apology" from the government is for the purposes of reparations-like extortion, and to validate their "Bush knew" fantastical delusions.

I thought that was the definition of a "Hillary"?! LOL! Well, people on both sides of the aisle do actually know Hillary's agendas and motivations. Sinister* Americans just choose to deny (or applaud!) the Truth in her instance.

I've made a couple of posts about Breitweiser recently as well. She lives near my town in NJ and not a day goes by that she's not quoted in the local papers. She's been anti-Bush from day one. Ann Coulter said it best on Scarborough Country last night (paraphrasing): They're accusing the Administration of not doing before 9/11, what they didn't want them to do after 9/11.
To: an amused spectator
"Did anybody catch which of the phony 9/11 "victim families" al-Katie had on this morning?" Given that the WTC towers were in NYC, one may reasonably assume that a good portion of those slain by the attackers 9/11 were Democrats - and, after taking the money, are eager to extract their next ounce of flesh by using their trumped-up fame for political partisanship. What you see on the Toady Show is simply a DNC orchestration.
BTW, over on CNN - is Soledad O'Brien pregnant or just trying to prove Atkins a failure? She's blimped up pretty good the last coupla months.

Ahhh! The American version of "Black September", whereby the American Left hijacks the 9/11 tragedy and attempts to fly it into the White House.

The elderly gentleman was named Doyle, James Doyle if I remember correctly. I don't know who the woman was. I didn't tune in long enough to get her name.
