"It's obvious to me that this country is rapidly dividing itself into two camps - the wimps and the warriors,"

He is most definitely NOT a wimp.

Wimps and warriors, what an excellent comparison.

If I am with the warriors then I am in good company. There is a pastor who has visited our church on occasion and his witness is based on Dulcinea, and how, at the end of her life she wanted to be viewed throgh Don Qixote's eyes. Not as she was, but as she wished to be, and as she could only be seen through the eyes of people with a dream...

The Sept. 11 commission's public quarrels with the Bush administration could "energize our enemies and demoralize our troops..."

In the Liberal mind, that would be a triple victory: Beat Bush; energize America's enemies; and demoralize our troops. No downside!

With the occasional exception, I'd say the Warrior contingent is well-represented here at Free Republic.

It's obvious to me that this country is rapidly dividing itself into two camps - the wimps and the warriors," Miller said. "The ones who want to argue and assess and appease, and the ones who want to carry this fight to our enemies and kill them before they kill us."

The ones who want to appease are our enemies too.

I have such respect for Zell Miller.
He is everything a senator should be except he's in the wrong party, but of course because he is a democrat in name only, his statements are all that more powerful.

I live in rural Georgia. You should read what loyal democrats write about Zell! While these writers profess to be conservatives, and urge other conservatives to vote for local democrats - they absolutely despise Zell with every word.

To them, even at a local level, party loyalty trumps all.
