the Nile is the longest river in the world at 4,145 miles. The Amazon is 2nd at 3,920.

Yep ...the Nile is the longest river. The Amazon has the largest volume of water, but the Nile is through and through the longest river in the world.

It is "Digame" or "Dime," one word and translates as "Tell me," or "Speak to me."

That is usually because when one answers the phone the caller says, "Oye," which means "Listen." :-)

Anyone know what “mushi, mushi” in Japanese is when literally translated?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but mushi mushi would literally be translated "bug bug" or "insect insect".

The term used when answering the phone is "moshi moshi".

moshi moshi (as i've heard it told), is a shortening of the phrase "moshi agemasu" which means "I'm calling/I'm saying/talking".

I think accent comes into play also. My wife is from Kyushu and while she might be saying "moshi moshi", what it sounds like is "mushi mushi".

And Minnesota used to have a law against colored margarine...

Margarine was white when I was growing up in Florida also. It came with a packet of food coloring which you mixed into it at home.

"A Czech man, Jan Honza Zampa, holds the record for drinking one liter of beer in 4.11 seconds."

Ha, I know I broke that record in college with a Beer Bong.
Several Times.
