Franken and "Progressive" Radio to Take Radio Time from Korean Language Programming in Los Angeles

It seems to put on the "progressive" radio network and find time for Al Franke and the the other shows they have rented time on a Korean radio station in Los Angeles, KBLA, which stands for Korean Broadcasting Los Angeles.

Korean Broadcasting Los Angeles

Profile
Established in early 1992, KBLA has been serving in the Los Angeles and Orange County Korean communities in California, providing high-quality Korean-language radio broadcasting 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. All programming are original and broadcast live. News and special features on KBLA are satellite-assisted.

Well, it ain't gonna be 24 hours any more. It's going to be interrupted by "O'Franken" and the others.

Looks like the liberals are again bull dozing over the poor oppressed minorities and taking away their radio stations and sense of community.

The liberal network is renting time on a Korean radio station in LA? It's probably a 12 watt station with a audience of about 975 people.

If they're renting the time, obviously the owners of the station have agreed to it.

Wow! A "clear channel station." The "50,000 Watt Flame-Thrower" of Southern California!....It's still a Korean station, and listenership will be minimal. What is Rush on? KFI? The others are on KRLA? This liberal network is doomed to failure.

First, the Koreans have to suffer a communist invasion in their homeland. Then, they have to suffer another ileftist invasion in the US. Talk about suffering...

They didn't force the Korean shows off the air. The station owner sold the time. That happens in a free market. If Frankens show is as successful as other liberal talk shows....the Korean shows will be airing again in 6 months.

Personally, I hope they do well. Liberals love to bash talk radio and if given the chance would pass a law banning it. If they get one or two successful shows, that argument goes away. The problem for liberal shows has always been the callers. Many hosts can't back up their statements when confronted by an opposing view. Many hosts just refuse to take opposing calls and then the audience is bored to tears. I will give Al a listen and see what type of host he is....he can be quite funny sometimes....and that may give him the edge he needs.

Not to worry, they'll be off the air after they serve their purpose of circumventing CFR.

I'm predicting somewhere between Nov 3 and 9th.
