Hillary Predicts October Surprise

New York Sen. Hillary Clinton is predicting that this year's presidential election will be very tight and the victor will win because of "something unforeseen."

"It will be very close," the former first lady tells the New York Post's Cindy Adams.

On how the contest will ultimately be decided, Clinton said, "It will be outside forces - something unforeseen that suddenly happens - that tilts the election one way or the other."

In 1992, Clinton's husband won the White House after Reagan Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger was indicted on Iran-Contra charges four days before the vote. Though the indictment was later overturned, the charges were enough to reverse President Bush 41's last-minute surge in the polls to within one point of Clinton.

In 2000 - again four days before the vote - a Democrat operative in Maine uncovered court records from Bush 43's then-24-year-old DUI stop. Bush's 5-point lead in Florida dwindled to a mere 537 votes, with the DUI news making Gore the popular vote winner nationwide.

Wow, she must be psychic.

Oops, you mis-spelled that word. It's p-s-y-c-h-o-t-i-c.

Unless . . . you weren't talking about her prediction, were you? It doesn't take a psychic to see Clinton manipulations coming.

Ahhhhh, I'm going to offer up a reality check here, folks.

In 2000, Hillary Clinton predicted a Gore victory, predicted a Senate Majority would result favoring Democrats, predicted the Democrats would retake the House, predicted the Democratic nominee for Mayor of New York would win.

She "predicted" the exact same thing, less the Mayor of New York, in 2002.

As a "psychic" Hillary makes a very good plumber....ya'll need to consider what the chances are SHE will be reelected before jumping through the hoops she arranges for you.

There's something very wrong about this chick, with her talk of vast right wing conspiracies, "outside forces" and talking to Eleanor Roosevelt. I think that, inside, she never took off those granny glasses.

Just great. First, she facilitates the sleaziest president the US has ever had. Then she becomes a senator in spite of having absolutely no qualifications. Now she's talking like a Magic Eight-Ball.

Bush should not use so much money so early, wait for the "Unexpected".

How does President Bush use any money he's currently raised after he accepts the nomination and the $75 million of Fed Matching Funds kick in? At that point the campaign has only those Fed funds to use.

The Dems keep making the same mistakes, over and over and over. They never learn. A lot of that is hubris. The rest is moral and intellectual bankruptcy.

She's still sitting on a stack of FBI files of probably every major political figure in this country.

Definitely one of the reasons the Bush Admin. has been treating the legacy of the Clintonistas with kid gloves.

Actually, President Bush isn't taking those funds.

It's a desperate wish.
She's praying for an American "Madrid".
It's their only hope.

Be afraid.
There are plenty who would cheerfully accomodate her "prediction".

[heck...maybe this was a "signal" to them, anyway]

Is she hoping for a bombing, as in Spain, to tilt the election to the Left? Is she giving a "thumbs up" to the terrorists?
