In 7:25 break, anchor reported "Terri Schiavo was rushed to a Pinellas County emergency room last night after nursing home staff noticed puncture wounds on her arm. The wounds appeared to be caused by a hypodermic needle! Toxicology tests were conducted but the results are not available yet!"

This could open a huge new round in this case. What did tests reveal? Who was last person in room? When was husband there? Was staffer trying the Angle of Death routine?

This will be developing hard all day!

Let me ask you a hypothetical: suppose that instead of Michael Schiavo, Terri were married to a sociopath who had tried to kill her earlier and wanted to make sure she would never recover. Should such a person be allowed to have the state 'finish the job' for him?

An interesting supposition. However, one does not make legal arguments on hypothetical questions, but on facts in evidence, and the Schindler family has no such facts in evidence.

If there exists any reasonable plausibility that Michael's motives stem from sociopathic intent but he is allowed to kill Terri, then it would seem to follow that a sociopathic person in Michael's shoes would be free to do likewise.

Unfortunately, you miss the critical point: the law does not operate on assumptions of "reasonable plausibility," it operates on facts in evidence. The facts to back up your hypothesis are not in evidence.

Go back and reread the posts in the Save Terri saga. Every reversal is explained away in terms of ever-larger conspiracy theories that eventually encompass most of Pinella County's population. It's never explained away in terms of "the parents are arguing from a very weak legal position without the very strong evidence needed to successfully do so." Indeed, much of the evidence the Schindlers have presented undercuts their own position.

"When the law is on your side, argue the law." (Michael Schiavo's main tactic.)

"When the facts are on your side, argue the facts." (Schiavo's secondary tactic, used when the Schindlers do something really boneheaded, like seeking "treatment" from quacks and frauds.)

"When neither the facts nor the law are on your side, pound the table and hope the judge is a bigger fool than you are." (The Schindlers' main strategy, and a woefully ineffective one.)

Wrong on both counts. High blood pressure is often a DIRECT cause of strokes. Lowering the BP in these cases is the FIRST thing to be done. It is only lowering the BP too much in the presence of athero/aterio/carotid stenosis that would cause an increase of anoxic brain tissue.

I also had the same thought that injecting large amounts of air into the vein was a good possibility. Let's face it, why would someone mess with injecting some sort of drug when it could easily just be administered to her through her feeding tube.

I can't say that I am satisfied that the Schindler's are innocent in this case. It is also possible that blood was drawn from Terri to test for sepsis which is infection/poisoning of the blood which could be present because of the bed sore and because there could be possible infections where her teeth were. I don't know why the Schindler's would do this because if the blood test revealed that sepsis was starting in Terri, they couldn't reveal the tests to anyone without being held accountable, so that part doesn't really make sense for the Schindler's to be responsible.

It is possible that an attempt to inject air was done and the person could not get a vein, but that would also be pretty apparent because some mild bruising does occur if a needle is moved around quite a bit.

I also think that it's very possible that a vein was never hit at all and never really attempted to be hit. That she was just poked to make it appear that someone was trying to tap a vein and to make the Schindler's look guilty. It just seems all too convenient to me that Felos immediately accused the Schindler's without first having an investigation and asking questions. It also seems all too convenient that the syringe cap was in her gown sleeve, the arm band was pulled up and the feeding tube was behind her.

Also, Felos stated that the cap was found in the sleeve of her gown but the Schindler's say she was dressed in street clothes when they left. By saying gown, that is indicative of a nightgown or hospital gown (bed clothing), so someone would have had to be in Terri's room and prepared her for bed after the Schindler's left. That means the Schindler's were not the last people to be in Terri's room.

I also ask the question about the guard that stands outside of Terri's door. Where was this guard when Terri's parents were visiting? Most of the times the guard stands inside the room while they are visiting. Was this the one time that the guard didn't go into the room and if it was, doesn't that seem all to convenient?

You are right on target with this. I'm not a religious person but I believe in a power greater then myself whom I choose to call God, I also believe that if it was Terri's time to return to her maker, she would die regardless of what efforts were taken here in the natural world to save her life. No form of artificial life support would keep Terri alive if it were her time to go. Let's face it, God knows we aren't stupid people and according to many he has mapped out our lives. Do we really think he never took into consideration how humans would advance in medicine...to say he didn't know this is to say we are smarter then God. So I say, if it is Terri's time to return to God, she will die regardless of what is done here in the physical realm.

I cannot go into detail regarding today's events beyond what I have already posted because of MY LEGAL BACKGROUND IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA. There is an ongoing investigation as you may already know by this time by FDLE & the Clearwater PD.

We did get local tv coverage today at Park Place by three local stations. During rush hour, Terri got lots of thumbs up and some drivers asked us about Terri. On the 10:00 news, Fox 13 showed Felos, then showed us, back to Felos, ending with us. I didn't have my camera this time around to cover our grassroots efforts but we meeted and greeted one another. More arrived as the sun went down and all are polite and ask how everyone is doing.

No doubt you have noticed that there's a major effort to discredit me on this thread. It is unfounded and only proves that I must be doing something right.

That's regarding phone calls. Terri is responsive in other ways too. She has her likes and dislikes in people as well. If you read that Terri is losing, that is pessimism. Terri's supporters do not follow that premise.

How do we know if a plant isn't trying to affect our morale? If you see posts repeating "we are losing", BEWARE. That is a classic example of mind control.

So don't come here waving your little mind, demonstrating that you do not understand that all the self-agrandizing self-hero worship a few of Terri's publicity-hungry supporters are doing isn't helping Felos and the husband put her in the ground.

All I have ever said is two irrefutable points.

1. You are losing. Felos is winning every round. It is the highest form of insanity to think you can continue the same tactics and win.

#2. Terri needs better lawyers and professional PR help. If this battle is to be won, it will be won in two courts; courts of law and the court of public opinion,

Terri needs the finest help in both courts, not a bunch of people who think their sign waving and 8 second sound bites are the ultimate answer.

Anyone who fails to take action on these needs is helping Felos.
